Penny Lancaster Flaunts Her Hot Bikini Body

Looking trim and lean in her skimpy animal-print bikini, Penny Lancaster has put paid to recent rumours that she is pregnant with her second child. The model, 38, showed off her slim and tanned physique as she sauntered by the pool on her holiday in Tenerife with husband Rod Stewart and their three-year-old son Alistair last week.

Penny had caused speculation that she was pregnant with her second child after stepping out in a loose printed floral dress at the annual Chelsea Flower show in London recently. It's now clear that it was just the unflattering fit of the mumsy looking frock that gave Penny the infamous 'bump'.

But the lingerie model, who married Rod, 64, two years ago and had son Alastair, has made no secret of her plans for a second child. However, Penny has suffered two miscarriages and has spent the past year trying to conceive. She admits that it has been difficult with Rod's busy schedule, and that her biological clock is ticking.'Rod wrote in my Valentine's card, 'Let's make baby No2'', she said recently. 'And now it's definitely the right time. We will be trying for another as soon as we can fit it in - we're ready now. A little girl would be wonderful as it would be a little playmate for Alastair. We'll be happy to stop at that.'

She added: 'I think Rod's touring and running around interferes with things but we still have high hopes." Penny has also had precancerous cells on her cervix, which had to be removed with a laser. Stomach pains then revealed she had a cyst on an ovary.'But her spokesman said: 'I'm sure it will happen eventually. They did manage to conceive Alastair perfectly naturally. It's simply a question of age. It does become more difficult the older people are."Penny and Rod have been together for nearly nine years, and Rod is father to six other children from previous relationships, two of which are with his former wife Rachel Hunter.

Rod Stewart Performs on 'American Idol'

"American Idol" trots out the eight male finalists, singing Rod Stewart's "Do You Think I'm Sexy," all dressed up in dark suits. I wonder if they'll strip down to their underwear, like Kara did -- or would that be undignified?Rod Stewart then shows up, of course. I don't remember anyone singing any of his songs this year, which is too bad . . . he's got some gems.

Unfortunately he's lost quite a lot vocally . . . man, it's painful listening to him sing "Maggie May." And then he dances . . . it's really bad, like suddenly we're at a senior citizen's home. He means well, but really, this image shouldn't be in our minds.Oddly, they put him out there alone, no "Idols" to join in and disguise the thinness of his voice, distract us from his wobbling back and forth on stage.

Meanwhile Rod Stewart and his wife Penny Lancaster are desperate to have a second child - but fear they have left it too late to conceive. The 'Maggie May' hitmaker, 64, and model Lancaster already have one son together, three-year-old Alastair. But their plans for another baby have suffered a setback - Lancaster, 38, has been trying to fall pregnant for more than a year without success.

Penny Lancaster In Bra-less See-Through Hot Outfit

It's hard to imagine what Penny Lancaster was thinking when she picked her outfit last night. The hanging shawl-type knitted dress was hardly a flattering choice for Rod Stewart's wife, who usually chooses clinging clothes which show off her fabulous figure. With her long legs and slim body, the model could have just about carried off the dress - if it weren't for the flashlights. Under their bright glare, the woollen fabric turned transparent - exposing the fact that Miss Lancaster was not wearing a bra.

It was as an underwear model for Ultimo that she made her name, although she was later replaced by her husband's ex-wife Rachel Hunter.Perhaps Stewart has been saving his pennies recently by encouraging his fourth wife not to splash out on new undergarments. The Scottish rocker was recently labelled 'cheap' by his son Sean during a televised U.S. court case. However, with Stewart's estimated £70million fortune, it seems unlikely that Miss Lancaster would have to hold back her spending.

The 38-year-old mother showed off her outfit at a special performance of the Dirty Dancing musical in London last night. Also at the event, which marked the 1,000th performance of the hit show, was Tess Daly. The presenter, who is pregnant with her second child, hid her bump in a black jumpsuit. Another guest wearing black was veteran TV personality Esther Rantzen.
