Penny Lancaster Flaunts Her Hot Bikini Body

Looking trim and lean in her skimpy animal-print bikini, Penny Lancaster has put paid to recent rumours that she is pregnant with her second child.The model, 38, showed off her slim and tanned physique as she sauntered by the pool on her holiday in Tenerife with husband Rod Stewart and their three-year-old son Alistair last week.

Penny had caused speculation that she was pregnant with her second child after stepping out in a loose printed floral dress at the annual Chelsea Flower show in London recently.It's now clear that it was just the unflattering fit of the mumsy looking frock that gave Penny the infamous 'bump'.

But the lingerie model, who married Rod, 64, two years ago and had son Alastair, has made no secret of her plans for a second child. However, Penny has suffered two miscarriages and has spent the past year trying to conceive.She admits that it has been difficult with Rod's busy schedule, and that her biological clock is ticking.'Rod wrote in my Valentine's card, 'Let's make baby No2'', she said recently. 'And now it's definitely the right time. We will be trying for another as soon as we can fit it in - we're ready now. A little girl would be wonderful as it would be a little playmate for Alastair. We'll be happy to stop at that.'

She added: 'I think Rod's touring and running around interferes with things but we still have high hopes." Penny has also had precancerous cells on her cervix, which had to be removed with a laser. Stomach pains then revealed she had a cyst on an ovary.'But her spokesman said: 'I'm sure it will happen eventually. They did manage to conceive Alastair perfectly naturally. It's simply a question of age. It does become more difficult the older people are."Penny and Rod have been together for nearly nine years, and Rod is father to six other children from previous relationships, two of which are with his former wife Rachel Hunter.
