Reports of Jeff Goldblum's and Harrison Ford's deaths are grossly exaggerated.As the world was hit with not one, but two tragic celebrity deaths on Thursday - Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson - the Internet seemed to suggest two more Hollywood demises had occurred that same day: "Jurassic Park" actor Goldblum and "Indiana Jones" himself, Harrison Ford.

The rumors of Goldblum and Ford's untimely deaths turned out to be false, and were in fact well-known Internet pranks that once made similar claims of Tom Hanks and Tom Cruise."Reports that Jeff Goldblum has passed away are completely untrue," said the actor's publicist in a statement Thursday night. "He is fine and in Los Angeles."

According to Snopes.com, these stories are automatically generated with fake scenarios via prank websites. Users simply plug in any name - which in this case were Goldblum and Ford.For Goldblum, it was suggested he fell to his death while filming a movie in New Zealand. Ford supposedly disappeared while on a boat in the French Riviera.This kind of prank first appeared online in 2006, and targeted Hanks. Cruise was similarly reported "dead" in 2008.

Harrison Ford Calista Flockhart Engaged

Harrison Ford and girlfriend Calista Flockhart are engaged to be married, sources close to the couple confirm exclusively to PEOPLE.Ford, 66, surprised Flockhart, 44, with an engagement ring on Valentine's Day weekend while the two were away on a family vacation with son Liam.Reps for the couple did not return calls.The couple has been together for seven and a half years. Carrie Fisher Having Affair With Harrison Ford

Carrie Fisher has come forward and is now hinting that she and her co-star of the Star Wars movies, hunky Harrison Ford, had an affair while filming the trilogies. Okay, so maybe they just hooked up once…heh heh.She appeared on a British TV show, Bring back…Star Wars, and said:“I went on the film saying, ‘I’m going to have an affair‘, like it was a kiwi, an exotic fruit - because I had never had one.”There was one instance on set when Carrie had left the room, only to return and find Harrison in the closet not wearing much clothing. “I had a crush on Harrison for sure. Harrison is great fun when he has had a few drinks.”

Carrie went on to add that by the time the second or third film came along, Harrison had already had quite a career and just the opposite happened for Mark Hamill. This caused some tension on the set between Harrison and Mark. Harrison, of course, is one of the biggest stars in Hollywood, Carrie is an accomplished screenwriter, and hmmm, just what in the world has Mark Hamill been up to lately?
