Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal Getting Married

Rumor has it that the long-time secret lovebirds, Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal, are getting married. The only question is, do you believe it? Personally, I’m skeptical and filing this one in the rumor department, but here’s the story.Apparently Jake has been telling friends that he and Reese will tie the knot just before Christmas. December will be a busy month for the actor, who will just be finishing up his latest film “Prince of Persia, and turning 28 on December 19. He is currently in Morocco, filming. A source on the set says,

“He told me he had proposed several times but she kept telling him she wanted to give their relationship more time. When he asked her again a couple of weeks ago, she finally said yes.”

This isn’t the first time this story has made headlines. In January of this year, engagement rumors were flying, and the story even sounded strikingly similar, with Reese saying no several times before finally caving. Then in May the stories of marriage came trickling in again. That time it even made the cover of OK! Magazine. However, because all of these stories seem to have the same theme - that Reese kept saying “sometime”, maybe this time she really did say yes.

Jake Gyllenhaal Dating Reese Witherspoon!

MSNBC reports that the two people seemingly unhappy with the celebrity pairing of Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal are Kirsten Dunst and Jake’s mom, Naomi Foner. Naomi thinks Jake is biting off more than he can chew as Reese comes with baggage in the form of two kids. Meanwhile, Kirsten isn’t pleased because she thought she’d always get back together with Jake. A source says that knowing Reese and Jake are close to being engaged is like a knife in the heart for Kirsten and According to Star, Kirsten’s been caught crying in public twice recently, and Jake and Reese are the reason! “Seeing photos of him out with her kids is just too much to handle,” Kirsten’s pal told the magazine.

I can just imagine Kirsten sitting alone on a park bench fine one minute and bawling her eyes out the next. Should I be laughing this hard? I don’t know. I feel bad. Kind of. Not really. Alright, alright. Not at all. If I was sitting next to Kirsten on that park bench, I might literally die from laughter. At the very least, my finger would be all tired from having to point at her just in case people were confused as to who and what I was hee-hawing at.
