John Mayer Dumps Jennifer Aniston Again

 John Mayer and Jennifer Aniston

Hollywood star Jennifer Aniston and her on-off-on again boyfriend John Mayer have called it quits. The unlucky-in-love actress had been dating musician Mayer for a little over a year and the pair appeared to be smitten with each other at the Oscars.Posing arm in arm, it seemed as if they were confirming their relationship was stronger than ever.

Back stage at the star-studded event, which was also attended by Aniston's ex husband Brad Pitt and partner Angelina Jolie, she said the couple were both 'very happy'.But now Mayer, 31, has called time on their rocky romance for the second time.According to US reports, soon after Jennifer returned from Europe - where she was promoting her latest film Marley & Me - the pair 'had some disagreements and decided to not continue to see each other'.

A separate source said it was Mayer who broke up with Aniston. It looks like Aniston, newly 40, may have predicted a split when she said in a recent interview 'whoever said that every relationship has to last forever? That’s hoping for too much'.

This is not the first time the pair have split.Last year, the pop rock singer held an impromptu press conference outside his gym in New York, where he said: 'People are different, people have different chemistry. I ended a relationship to be alone because I don’t want to waste somebody’s time if something’s not right.’She was said to be furious about the comment, and after reconciling she told Vogue magazine: 'Trust me, you'll never see that happen again from that man.'

Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer Together Again!

Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer

Well maybe. Some are saying that Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer are back together again — at least for a couple of very public dates. So according to one report, the off-and-on couple were spotted dining from Manhatten to West Hollywood over the last weekend looking quite happy together.“They looked like they had the best time. They were holding hands at one point and seemed very much back on.“She seemed extremely happy to be back with him,” the insider tells Us. “They were close and laughing the whole time with their friends.”The couple split in August after dating for 4 months so what’s the reason for the change of heart?

This report says it’s because of a series of romantic emails from John to Jen.“At first Jennifer was afraid to respond to John’s messages because she was afraid he’d break her heart again,” says an insider. “The emails were especially poetic — like love songs. He said he’d never stop loving her and he’s been very, very persuasive.”Some are skeptical that it’s actually a relationship again. And not everyone remains convinced a re-match might be a good thing. Says one of Jen’s friends:

“If they are back together, Jen is not bragging about it to her friends.”Well they both could do alot worse, that’s for certain. And since they are both pretty adorable, and I’m an incurable romantic, I say try again… just one more time.
