"American Idol” runner-up Katharine McPhee is the latest star to get into the celebrity endorsement business. Katharine McPhee has been named as the new spokesperson for Neutrogena.After much media speculation, the skincare brand has confirmed that McPhee will take part in a new project starting with them in May.With this, she is the latest young star to join the ranks of girls (Hayden Panettiere, Vanessa Hudgens, Mischa Barton and Jennifer Love Hewitt) who’ve represented the cosmetics giant.

She will become the new flawless face of the skin care company’s anti-acne product line in the two-year deal.While no official announcement has been made from Neutrogena’s camp, a source close to the deal says the entertainer pocketed more than $500,000 for the use of her fresh-faced visage.McPhee was the runner-up in season five of “American Idol,” placing second to Taylor Hicks. Her beautiful girl-next-door looks helped keep her in the spotlight as did a record deal.

Katharine McPhee: Looking For Job!!

Wearing heels and a cute summer dress, Katharine McPhee was spotted arriving for an important business meeting in Santa Monica on Tuesday (March 11). After making her way inside, the American Idol runner-up was later seen making a barefooted dash out to her car to grab some CD’s - leading to speculation that she’s now ready to shop around for a new label.

As previously reported by Gossip Girls, McPhee left the RCA label on January 11th, marrying producer Nick Cokas three weeks later. But after a relaxing honeymoon and brush with acting, McPhee looks to be geared up for another trip to the studio.In related news, Katharine will be performing live tonight (March 12) on American Idol, which airs on FOX at 9PM ET.

Katharine McPhee Married To Nick Cokas!

According to a source close to singer Katharine McPhee, the 23-year-old American Idol runner-up was married to her boyfriend, actor Nick Cokas in a ceremony in Los Angeles on Saturday.In September, OK! was the first to reveal that Kat and Nick, who is 19 years older than his new bride, were engaged. And only a few weeks ago, the singer confessed to OK! that she was desperately trying to get in shape for the wedding.

The couple exchanged vows in Beverly Hills during a 45-minute ceremony. Katharine wore a strapless ivory Manuel Mota gown and Neil Lane jewels, while her husband sported an Armani tux. Katharine’s wedding colors were pink, purple and peach and her floral arrangements were made of pink, purple, peach and white roses as well as green hydrangea and pink cherry blossoms.Among the list of three hundred invited guests were Kellie Pickler and Mandisa from McPhee’s American Idol season.Katharine McPhee is 23 and Nick Cokas is eighteen years her senior. They had been dating since before American Idol.
