Lady GaGa Sets The Stage On Fire at Much Music Awards

Lady GaGa stole the show at the Much Music awards in Canada as she gave an electrifying performance in more ways than one.The electro-pop diva took to the stage in an exploding Madonna-style bustier armed with pyrotechnics, which went off as she performed a racy routine with dancers dressed as police officers. GaGa, real name Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, gyrated on stage in the barely-there ensemble - which she teamed with tiny black knickers, studded gloves and knee-high spiked boots - as she sang a medley of her hits Love Game and Poker Face.

The 23-year-old later took home the award for best international video artist award for Poker Face.Meanwhile Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie turned heads in sexy black hotpants and a matching top with cut outs.The singer also brought out her Wolverine-style claws for the occasion, accessories she first donned earlier this month.

Reality TV star Kim Kardashian and singer Kelly Clarkson also appeared at the eventful show which was hosted by US teeny-boppers the Jonas Brothers.Kardashian, who was sporting a sleek bob hairstyle, looked stunning in a black and white striped dress.She later revealed on her Twitter account that she had been 'channeling Marilyn Monroe.'

'Fergie just told me I look like the brunette Marilyn Monroe!' she wrote.Clarkson on the other hand, opted for a garish orange number which may see her appear on the worst-dressed lists.But it was rock band Nickelback who swept the awards, as their hit Gotta Be Somebody won for best video, best rock video and best postproduction.

Nickelback and R&B artist Danny Fernandes led the contenders with five nominations each. Fernandes went home with the pop video trophy for Private Dancer.The best international video award for a Canadian artist went to Billy Talent for Rusted From The Rain, and rapper Classified picked up the best hip hop video for Anybody Listening.

Fergie Strips for Sizzling Hot Allure Bikini Shoot

With chart success and another big screen role under her belt, singer Fergie really is riding high.And she has stayed true to her fine form with a sizzling new bikini shoot. The singer, whose Black Eyed Peas track Boom Boom Pow topped the charts, has stripped off for the latest issue of America's Allure magazine.

And while she looked incredibly toned in an array of revealing numbers, she revealed getting back in shape after filming Nine wasn’t easy.Last year director Rob Marshall ordered to gain weight to play the part of prostitute Saraghina in the ensemble musical.Alongside co-star Penelope Cruz, she delighted in gaining 17 pounds as the two ordered 'everything fried and full of fat and salty' while filming in London.

'We were eating our brains out,' Fergie told the magazine.But Fergie, who is famous for her rock hard abdominal muscles, struggled to regain her figure after the cameras stopped rolling.Fergie eventually recruited husband Josh Duhamel’s personal trainer who encouraged her to jump rope, hike outdoors, lift weights and resume stomach crunches.

'It was a very gradual thing getting back into it and finally letting a trainer train me,' she said. 'I didn’t want to be told what to do, and I wasn’t mentally ready to crack the whip.'The 34-year-old recently transformed her look to coincide with the release of the new album The E.N.D, including dying her blonde locks dark brown.

'Something inside of me said, "I need an evolution",' Fergie revealed. 'I’m in a new phase of life. I’m married; I have a new album. It felt time.'Not that married life has made her any more demure, especially not behind closed doors.'I've got a big chest of fun little numbers, ones that I would never wear in public,' revealed.

She's back from Europe after filming Nine with Daniel Day-Lewis and tons of other famous stars (like Kate Hudson and Penelope Cruz), some of whom will be attending her wedding.To top off her good day, Fergie also received a parcel (was it a poster?) as she left LAX. Fergie is engaged to her boyfriend, actor Josh Duhamel.The pair, which Us has learned is currently vacationing near Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, were recently photographed looking at a ranch in California that is often rented for weddings. The engagement news was first reported by TMZ.

The 32-year-old "Glamourous" singer (also the lead vocalist for the Black Eyed Peas) has been dating Josh Duhamel of NBC's Las Vegas, 35, for three years.We're still decorating our house, so I go shopping in the different countries [on my tour] and ship things home, and we open all the boxes together," she says in the latest issue of Us Weekly, on newsstands now.

Fergie and Duhamel share a $5 million pad in Los Angeles. She told Us, "We go running around the house like little kids, putting things in different places!"The couple have been inseparable for some time. "We're practically married," Fergie has said.
