Ashlee Simpson & Pete Wentz Have Baby Boy Named Bronx Mowgli

Ashlee Simpson and her “Fall Out Boy” husband Pete Wentz have finally welcomed their son.So let’s have a Bronx cheer!The new baby's name is Bronx Mowgli Wentz and he weighed 7 lbs., 11 oz., and was 20 1/2 inches long.No clue yet on the basis of the Bronx moniker.But Mowgli is the name of the character in Rudyard Kipling’s short story “In the Rukh,” and is best known for being the lead in the popular animated film, “The Jungle Book,” inspired by Kipling’s work.

"Ashlee, Pete and baby Bronx are all healthy and happy, and thank everyone for their well wishes!" a spokesperson told People.Guess the animated character middle name makes sense given the fact that Ashlee and Pete had an Alice In Wonderland-themed wedding and a Winnie the Pooh-themed baby shower.Could have been worse. Could have been Pooh, Piglet, Eyore or Mad Hatter.

Pete Wentz Is Bisexual!!

Super-emo boy Pete Wentz recently admitted that he made out with other guys in the past.Wentz, 29, who is now married to and expecting a child with Ashlee Simpson, says that in his younger days he had sexual trysts with men as a way to express himself.

He tells Out magazine, “When I said that I make out with dudes, there was a slight sense of sexual rebellion in that. And I probably even made it a bigger deal than it was.”Wentz adds that he no longer partakes in sexual encounters with men. Sorry boys.When ‘Out’ asked him when the last time he was he made out with a man Pete replied, “A long time ago. Probably when I was 22?”

Pete Wentz And Ashlee Simpson Married

Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz were married in a private Saturday evening ceremony, before 150 guests, at the Los Angeles-area home of the bride’s father (Joe Simpson), a rep for the couple has confirmed.“We’re delighted to confirm that Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson were married this evening in front of family and close friends,” a spokesperson for the couple tells People Magazine.

Twenty-three year old Ashlee, who is reportedly expecting the couple’s first child, went glam as she exchanged “I Do’s” with Pete, twenty-eight. The “Bittersweet” bride wore a wedding gown by Monique Lhuillier; accessorizing the stunning frock with a diamond necklace and earrings by Neil Lane.And to make it more unusual, the wedding ceremony was performed by her father, dad Joe Simpson. The ring-bearer? Wentz’s English bulldog, Hemingway.

Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz wedding photos are going to be a hot item this weekend. The couple is rumored to marry this weekend, and we will have those photos here asap.Ashlee and Pete have sent out save the date notices to all of their guests, but no formal invitations have gone out. Instead guests were told to prepare to go about an hour outside of LA, transportation will be provided.

A rehearsal dinner will take place Friday evening, and will be an intimate affair with close friends and family only.Ashlee and Pete announced their engagement in April, so having a wedding so soon is a bit unexpected. It is rumored that Ashlee is also expecting her first child.

Ashlee and Pete Wentz are reportedly walking down the aisle next week! Somebody apparently whipped out the shotgun and my money's on Joe Simpson. And, no, not for his daughter's honor. Ha ha. That's rich. Seriously, you should be writing this instead of me.

Hollyscoop reports:A source close to the couple has told Hollyscoop exclusively, "The wedding invitations have been sent out, its taking place the weekend of May 16. The location will not be revealed until the day of the wedding but guests are told it will be an hour drive from Los Angeles."Our source also confirmed that Ashlee is 100% pregnant. Papa Joe is probably busy selling off the wedding info and pictures as we speak so expect to see it in the tabloids Memorial weekend.

Joe Simpson is probably the coolest dad in the world. Not only does he sell the photo rights to his daughter's unborn child but to her shotgun wedding as well. This is almost better than the gift he got Ashlee for her Sweet 16. Which was a boob job for her sister Jessica. God, that's sweet. *sniff* And my own father wouldn't even play catch with me... I can't help it I've got flippers for arms!

Ashlee Simpson Is Pregnant!!

Ashlee Simpson is pregnant. Which makes sense, given the fact that she and her fiance, Fall out Boy frontman Pete Wentz, announced their engagement last week.A source confirmed the news of Ashlee being pregnant to Us Weekly, and the mag is speculating that Ashlee’s due date is in October. Papa Joe Simpson told E! News’ Ryan Seacrest:“We’re very happy as a family and excited about the engagement. We think Pete is the right guy for Ashlee.”

Both sides for the duo, however, are mum about Ashlee’s pregnancy. She is set to do the obligatory press rounds later this week, as her new album, Bittersweet World, drops on April 22nd. No doubt all questions will lead to her pregnancy and upcoming nuptials rather than her record. Hmmm, could big sis Jessica be close on the heels of Ashlee - pregnant and having a shotgun wedding?

Ashlee Simpson is engaged to boyfriend Pete Wentz.“He got down on one knee and she said yes,” a family friend says. “She has an amazing ring, and they are so in love.”The couple went away to Colorado just days ago where Pete’s brother had an art exhibit, and that is where Pete, 28, popped the question to Ashlee, 23.The couple that started dating in October 2006 but no wedding date has been set yet.

Pete Wentz Attempted Suicide!!

Pete Wentz, Fall Out Boy bassist and boyfriend to Ashlee Simpson, admitted recently that he once attempted suicide. The attempt happened a couple of years ago, before Pete and Ashlee hooked up.Describing the time that he tried to kill himself, Pete said,“I got in my car. I remember I was listening to Jeff Buckley doing Leonard Cohen’s ‘Hallelujah’ and sat there and took a bunch of Ativan in a Best Buy parking lot.“I called up my manager because I was, at that point, completely out of my head with Ativan. And I was talking to him and I was slurring my words, so he called my mom and my mom called me and she came and got me and we went to the hospital.”

Since then, Pete has made it a point to help those considering suicide. He is a part of the Half Of Us suicide prevention campaign organized by the Jed Foundation. Other celebrities who participate in this campaign include Mary J. Blige and Billy Corgan of Smashing Pumpkins.Pete and Ashlee began dating around September 2006, and it looks like Pete has found happiness. In February 2008, Pete gave Ashlee a promise ring that she’s been wearing on that all-important finger ever since.
