Cheryl Cole Sizzles In Hot £4,000 Dress For Her Birthday Celebration

Arriving at her 26th birthday party in a show-stopping, revealing dress, Cheryl Cole was pretty much guaranteed to be the centre of attention.But with Dannii Minogue, Emma Bunton and Holly Willoughby among her guests at Vanilla private club in London, the Girls Aloud singer wanted to be sure.So she wore a daring sheer, fringed £4,000 mini-dress by British designer Alexander McQueen.

But Cheryl couldn't have anticipated being upstaged by her own mother Joan Callaghan, 49, who misguidedly decided to go without underwear for the occasion.Escorted by footballer husband Ashley Cole, Cheryl teamed the dress with £495 Christian Louboutin nude patent prive slingback heels.

The Coles and Joan joined a host of the singer's celebrity friends at the party, including X Factor mogul Simon Cowell, Sir Philip Green and fellow Girls Aloud bandmates Kimberley Walsh and Nicola Roberts.But by the end of the night, it was Joan who was causing the biggest stir among the assembled paparazzi as her desperation to keep up with the young ones became all too obvious.

Keen to show her still-petite figure in a sweatshirt grey bandeau dress, the 49-year-old unwisely decided to step out without any underwear. If she were worried about VPL - visible panty line - surely a thong would have provided adequate cover.

Cheryl Cole Sparkles By The Seaside In Hot Swimsuit

Just 18 months ago, her marriage was in crisis and her figure looked skeletal as the stress took its toll.Now Cheryl Cole is back in good shape and appears happier than ever with husband Ashley Cole.The singer ditched her bikini to show off her figure in a striking cutaway swimsuit by designer Melissa Odabash.

And at £375, her sexy look certainly didn't come cheap.Cheryl turned heads in the south of France - where the couple are holidaying - in the lime green Florida bathing suit from Odabash's swimwear collection, which was decorated with circular mirrors.It appeared to have plenty of support in the bust area, however Cheryl's tiny figure failed to fill it out much as the bikini area looked somewhat baggy. Husband Ashley appears to be on the same diet as his wife, as he showed off his slight physique in blue swimming trunks.

The smiling pair appear to have got over the allegations of infidelity that rocked their marriage last year.They sat chatting and laughing on the beach with a group of friends beside the sea.Ashley then took a dip in the water while Cheryl and a female friend bartered with a local salesman, buying cowboy sunhats.

Showing his tender side, Ashley then played in the sand with their friend's young child, helping build a sand castle as he kept a close eye on the youngster.The happy scenes were a far cry from a year ago, when 25-year-old Cheryl's weight plunged to under six stone as she battled to save her marriage.

Cheryl Cole Adopts the Lady GaGa Style

Taking a style cue from raunchy singer Lady GaGa, Cheryl took to the stage in a futuristic leotard and mini skirt combo which owed more than a nod to the crazy looks seen on pop singer Lady GaGa.With its exaggerated gem-studded shoulders and stiff skirt, the high-fashion look was a style departure for Cheryl and co, who seem determined to surge ahead of the pop pack in the raunch stakes.

The girls looked heavenly as they appeared on stage in Manchester, Sheffied and last night at London's O2 Arena in long silver dresses and gloves.But it didn't take long before Cheryl, Sarah, Nadine and Nicola peeled off to reveal sexy cutaway black and white themed leotards, much to the fans' delight.

But while Cheryl's bandmates opted for flesh baring high-cut leotards, the Geordie singer opted for the predominantly white GaGa style outfit which made her stand out from her scantily-clad colleagues.The girls worked their way through a number of their hits including Fix Me Up? and Something Kinda Ooh, as well as a rendition of the Britney Spears song Womanizer.

Cheryl Cole is FHM's World's Sexiest Woman

Cheryl Cole topped another beauty poll today, when she was named FHM's World's Sexiest Woman 2009.The Girls Aloud and X Factor star, who said recently she hates looking thin and gets nicknamed 'flatty batty', knocked last year's winner Megan Fox down to second place.Her victory is the first for a Brit in three years. Previously, the only British lady to come close was 22-year-old model Keeley Hazell, who this year secured 5th place behind Californian beauty Jessica Alba.

Last year Britney Spears languished at number 31, and following a mixed year for the singer FHM bosses thought she would drop out completely.But following an online campaign by fans, she claimed fourth place. She recently conquered Kilimanjaro to raise £1million for Comic Relief.And now Cheryl Cole has overcome an ever bigger hurdle - her modesty.The 25-year-old Girls Aloud singer joined her bandmates Sarah Harding, 27, Nadine Coyle, 23, Kimberley Walsh, 27, and Nicola Roberts, 23, in stripping down for the group's raciest shoot yet.

Mrs Cole, wife of Chelsea footballer Ashley, poses in a see-through PVC top and skimpy black underwear to promote the band's new single 'Untouchable'.Both Miss Harding and Miss Coyle opted for revealing one-piece garments while Miss Walsh leaves little to the imagination in a barely-there cat suit.

It's a far cry from the girl-next-door image that they cultivated when they formed in 2002 in the reality show Pop Stars: The Rivals.The group have since become the most successful British girl band ever with 20 consecutive top ten hits. Their latest single is also expected to equally successful.Their latest album Out Of Control has already sold 750,000 copies and they have sold more than six million records in total.

Last month Girls Aloud won a Brit award for Best British Single at Earl’s Court. They have also announced a 32-date tour which begins in Manchester in April.Before auditioning for the band Mrs Cole was a 19-year-old working as a waitress in a cafe in Newcastle. She has since appeared on the cover of Vogue.And after joining the X Factor as a judge she proved a huge hit with the show's viewers, with Simon Cowell reportedly offering her a £1million contract to sign up for the next series.
