Paris Hilton must have known that her arrival at court to answer a $8million lawsuit was going to be greeted by a barrage of press.So she treated it like any other public appearance - by pulling on a flattering designer dress, having her hair done, and applying perfect make-up.The heiress arrived at the Miami court in a suitably somber black and white dress with a large bow on the back, teamed with super high heels.

Paris is being sued by the investors in her 2006 movie Pledge This.They claim she hated the movie and refused for months to make promotional appearances for it, despite a contract requiring her to do so'During the six-month period, at no time would she take 10 minutes to do a phone interview,' attorney Bryan West, who represents the investors, said in yesterday's opening statements.

With Hilton nodding vigorously from her defense table seat, her attorney Michael Weinsten insisted she did numerous appearances for the movie but was unavailable to meet many requests by the film's producers because of her extremely busy schedule.

Paris also had the right to refuse some promotion events that might harm her 'brand' and never agreed to plug the DVD release of the movie from December 2006 through May 2007, he said.'Paris Hilton is a promotion machine,' Weinsten said. 'For two-and-a-half years, she relentlessly promoted that movie.'

Paris Hilton doesn't keep a diary.She just Googles herself.The 28-year-old heiress -- who is being sued for $8 million for failing to promote her 2006 comedy Pledge This! -- was asked by lawyers during a pre-trial hearing in Miami Thursday if she keeps a diary for business meetings."I just press my name and Google it and see," she told the court.Asked by lawyers about her calls from the producers, she testified: "With my phone I never know, because I lose it all the time. I probably get a new cellphone, like, every two weeks."When shown a copy of her cell phone bill, she replied: "I've never seen a phone bill of mine in my life."

Asked what her responsibilities as the film's executive producer, Hilton told the court, "I'm not sure what a producer does, but - I don't know, help get cool people in the cast?"Hilton, who also revealed that she earns $11 million a year, claims she adequately honored her deal to promote the film."Any chance I got, any red carpet, any press, if I was doing something for another product...I would just bring it up, 'Oh, my new sorority film, it's going to be sexy, it's going to be really hot girls,'" she testified. I’m a lot more serious and shy…and if I’m not out, having to be, you know, “on”, I’m at home just chilling and wearing sweat pants.

Paris also talks about boys and what it takes to date her.I’m always really hard to get with guys. There’s a process they have to go through. I’m very old fashioned really and I’ll make them have, like, a million dates before the get a kiss. People are surprised because they think I’ve been through so many men, but it’s not true. I don’t really talk to guys - apart from Benji, who I was with in the past year. I’m not ready to move into another relationship. I think it’ll be good for me to be alone and find out who I am. One day I’ll find someone, but for now I don’t want to be with anyone.

In the interview, Paris also talks about her current projects. She has been dabbling with painting in her spare time, and she’s even been offered an exhibition. She says that she might put that together next year. But the most shocking thing about the interview might be the photo shoot. Paris’ wig is definitely over-the-top.
