Lil Kim Prison Sentence: 'Dancing with the Stars' Season Premiere

'Dancing with the Stars' Season Premiere
Tonight has been Lil Kim prison sentence curiosity night for Dancing with the Stars‘ premiere.Bad exposition. If you are going to put Lil Kim on Dancing, give some background to viewers. Even though reality tv is not scripted, the format is structural and more clarification was needed.Kim during her prison sentence watched Dancing.“Me and my girls used to watch it and they would say, ‘You need to be on that show.’

Celebrity toes resumed twinkling tonight as Dancing With the Stars kicked off its eighth season and, despite the desperately random assortment of said stars, this has the makings of a good go-around.This barely begun season has already witnessed the premature exit of two injured stars—Nancy O'Dell and Jewel—and the last-minute arrival of their replacements—Girls Next Door babe Holly Madison and extra-burned Bachelor castoff Melissa Rycroft. Not to mention half the pros are dancing on surgically repaired joints and Hollywood newcomer Gilles Marini has tendinitis in his groin.

The ballroom also welcomed two new pros, the show's youngest-ever contestant, its first already established star-pro couple and a pair of newly engaged DWTS veterans.

As Bruno Tonioli would say... Actually, he'd say something gross, so we're just going to recap tonight's performances:

Lil Kim: The raunchy rapper, who revealed that she first started watching DWTS while in prison, has rhythm and her cha-cha with defending champ Derek Hough got the night off to a very saucy—and technically sound—start. She needs polish but has major potential. "You can work wonders with that tushy!" Bruno offered, while head judge Len Goodman called the performance "first class."
Score: 21

Belinda Carlisle: The former Go-Go's frontwoman looked lovely, but, according to her debut waltz with Jonathan Roberts, she's missing the inherent grace possessed by past elder stateswomen such as Jane Seymour and Priscilla Presley. There certainly weren't any Cloris Leachman moments, as Bruno suggested, but the 50-year-old still needs to get that beat back, pronto.
Score: 17

Lawrence Taylor: He might have been wearing Emmit Smith's cha-cha outfit, but the 50-year-old NFL Hall of Famer isn't quite disco ball material yet. Not that he needed to be, what with Edyta Sliwinska returning in fine scantily clad form after last season's one-and-done appearance with Jeff Ross. But as Len noted, there's a "naturalness" about Taylor.
Score: 16

Steve-O: The former Jackass player didn't exactly stick his foot "up the waltz's butt," but he didn't suck too hard, either. Let's just say Lacey Schwimmer has her work cut out for her, but if anyone can cover up someone's rough edges with edgy choreography, she can.
Score: 17

Gilles Marini: Turns out Sex and the City's Samantha would have done well to visit her naked neighbor. The 33-year-old Frenchman, who quite literally flashed into American theaters last summer, is a frontrunner at this point, as far as raw talent is concerned. He's rough around the edges, but his cha-cha was the best of the bunch. And, for the record, Cheryl Burke looks great.
Score: 24

Chuck Wicks: The 29-year-old country singer is the first star to join the show having already seduced his pro partner. Julianne Hough's easy-on-the-eyes boyfriend showed a lot of potential, waltzing his girlfriend around the ballroom with relative ease, although his desire to impress her—and make her laugh during rehearsals—could make for a rough ride behind the scenes.
Score: 20

Holly Madison: DWTS first-timer Dmitry Chaplin certainly didn't need to whip his Playboy Playmate partner into shape for the challenge. Holly's lovely limbs, spray-tanned to perfection, could serve her well eventually, but tonight's cha-cha proved that a week's practice just ain't enough.
Score: 18

Ty Murray: Well, Jewel wouldn't have had to worry about her hubby wrangling the title away from her. The rodeo cowboy gave his cha-cha a go, and his aw-shucks demeanor is very charming, but newcomer Chelsie Hightower is probably going to have a very short debut season.
Score: 14

Shawn Johnson: Girl knows how to compete. The Olympic gymnast, fresh off a four-medal performance in Beijing and the youngest-ever DWTS competitor at 17, has the potential to add a disco ball to her trophy case. Her waltz was graceful—"surprisingly refined," Bruno called it—and she partners well with the boyishly handsome Mark Ballas (who, after all, is only 22).
Score: 23

Steve Wozniak: It is possible for the billionaire entrepreneur to win this season. It would require free iPods suddenly appearing in mailboxes across the U.S., but still... Anyway, Karina Smirnoff had her man suited up to be the clown, trotting him out for the cha-cha in a pink boa, but unless Wozniak's minions find a way to hack the database, the likable Apple Computer cofounder probably won't last too long.
Score: 13

David Alan Grier: The comedian was likable but forgettable, his waltz—and his face—being neither here nor there. "One character will suffice," Bruno advised, referring to Grier's constantly shifting facial expressions. The In Living Color star couldn't even get a break from former Fly Girl Carrie Ann Inaba, who docked him a point for lifting both of Kym Johnson's feet off the ground.
Score: 19

Denise Richards: She was the first to cry during rehearsal this season, but the actress rebounded nicely, minus that limp left arm. Going for Richards already are her flexibility, killer bod and fan-favorite partner, Maksim Chmerkovskiy. Not great are those nerves, which she needs to shake. "You've got it all, but you don't know what to do with it!" exclaimed Bruno.
Score: 18

Melissa Rycroft: OK, we'll say it... Suck it, Jason Mesnick. A week after being ceremoniously dumped on national TV (thanks, producers, for replaying the moment tonight), in a snazzy bit of ABC synergy the former Dallas Cowboys cheerleader made a triumphant return to prime time. Her promising waltz, combined with all the good will she's acquired (standing ovation, anyone?), means Tony Dovolani finally has a shot at the title.
Score: 23

Girls Next Door Book

Girls Next Door Book
Now that Hugh Hefner’s new memoir called ‘Mr. Playboy’ has been released, do you think The Girls Next Door will be releasing one too? They seem very enterprising to me and hey, it could make for some very interesting reading don’t you think? So, reportedly Hef ’spills all’ in his new book called ‘Mr. Playboy,’ including his time with The Girls Next Door. And of course EVERYONE is interested in the details of his break up with Holly Madison, Kendra Wilkinson and Bridget Marquardt. But dang if those details haven’t been left out of the first printing — his breakup with the girls happened after his book went to press!

So what would Hef think if the Girls wrote their own ‘Girls Next Door Book’ of life with him? It would most certainly be a fun read. But what would Hef think?“I’m OK with them voicing their thoughts and memories,” Hef said last night during the book signing at Barnes & Noble in L.A.’s Grove mall. “But truthfully, it would depend on what was in there. We had a lot of interesting times.”Hef’s new girlfriends, Crystal Harris and twins Kristina and Karissa Shannon were by his side at his book signing of ‘Mr. Playboy,’ but unlike his very chatty Girls Next Door, they were not talking.

Holly Madison Did Not Dump Hef for Criss Angel!

hot Holly Madison
TheDirty.com's report to the contrary, Hugh Hefner's alpha girl, Holly Madison, is not moving out of the Playboy Mansion. And she is not hooking up with sleazy magician Criss Angel, either."I really don't know where this stuff comes from," Kevin Burns, executive producer of The Girls Next Door, tells E! News exclusively. "Holly has not moved out and has no plans to do so. She is very much busy supervising and editing Playmate shoots at Playboy Studios West. She's also been working with my company on several new ideas for Playboy-themed TV shows and specials."

He continued, "Holly's trips to Vegas have been 'mini-vacations' to hang out with friends and to scout for the magazine. She's just having a good time."Crisis averted: The end of GND as one of TV's best guilty pleasures is not nigh, and more importantly, the Playboy empire of high-class hoochie will not want for a queen. Whew.

For her part, Holly posted on her MySpace earlier this week to debunk simultaneous wedding and breakup rumors. About the rumored end of the Holly Era at the Mansion, she wrote, "Hef and I are not breaking up...We are PIC (partners in crime, LOL, Kendra [Wilkinson] came up with that one). We are wrapping up season five of The Girls Next Door and are looking forward to filming a season six."

Holly Madison Caught with Criss Angel

Holly Madison Caught with Criss Angel
Controversy continues to swirl around The Playboy Mansion, as vehement denials are now coming from the Playboy camp that Hugh Hefner’s “number one girlfriend” Holly Madison is leaving the Mansion to run away with magician/ladies’ man Criss Angel.

“I really don’t know where this stuff comes from,” stated Kevin Burns, Executive Producer of “The Girls Next Door, “Holly has not moved out and has no plans to do so. She is very much busy supervising and editing Playmate shoots at Playboy Studios West. She’s also been working with my company on several new ideas for Playboy-themed TV shows and specials.”Burns also denies the report in The Dirty gossip blog about Holly’s alleged romance with Criss Angel. “Holly’s trips to Vegas have been ‘mini-vacations’ to hang out with friends and to scout for the magazine,” Burns stated, :”She’s just having a good time.”

Holly herself blasted the rumors on MySpace, claiming “Hef and I are not breaking up…We are Partners In Crime. LOL, Kendra came up with that one. We are wrapping up season five of The Girls Next Door and are looking forward to filming a season six.”However, there is another side to this tale. Just this past week, The Vegas Eye spotted Angel and Holly rather cozy on a couch during a night out in Sin City. So, what’s the real deal going on? Is Angel just pursuing Holly, who remains loyal to Hef? Or is Holly milking the speculation to boost ratings for the 5th Season Premiere of The Girls Next Door on October 5th?

Hugh Hefner And Holly Madison Break up!

Hugh Hefner And Holly Madison
Could it be that “Girlfriend Number 1,” Holly Madison, has finally grown weary of her aging and non-committal boyfriend Hugh Hefner? Madison has been with Hugh Hefner for seven years and has long expressed her desire to marry him- and he has long expressed his desire never to marry again. Now, amidst reports that Madison has been getting rather cozy with illusionist Criss Angel (how does that guy keep getting girls?), many believe that Hefner and Madison are very close to splitting up.

Back in May, Holly may have been hinting that she’d just about had enough, when she reportedly said of her relationship with Hef, “We are no closer to getting married than we were years ago. It’s like a car stalled at the side of the road.” And apparently, Madison is ready to finally get out of the car. A source close to the going-ons in the Playboy mansion told Scandalist, “rumors are indeed true. [Holly] told Hef that she is moving out of the mansion and breaking off their relationship.” We’re not sure how much commitment she’ll find with womanizer Criss Angel…but at least she’s finally jumping into the dating scene with some more age-appropriate men.

But those two seemed to have such a deep and committed relationship…not counting Hef’s other girlfriends, of course. Hugh Hefner must be completely broken up about this, right? Wrong. The source continued, “Hef is actively seeking three new girls to replace them immediately.” It was previously reported that Hef’s other two girlfriends, Bridget and Kendra, are also looking to leave the house. We wonder if this means a whole new cast for the next season of “The Girls Next Door”…something tells us that if he so desires, Hugh Hefner will have no problem bringing in a whole new crop of opportunistic, air-brushed blondes to fill the rooms of his house…and that includes his bedroom.

Hugh Hefner to marry Holly Madison

“Girl Next Door”Holly Madison and Hugh Hefner

Is Hugh Hefner set to marry “Girl Next Door” Holly Madison next season? Will they then boot Bridget and Kendra out of the Playboy mansion?Rumor has it that Hugh Hefner and first girlfriend, Holly Madison, might be headed down the aisle during next season’s “Girls Next Door” reality show. According to OK! Magazine, Hef’s second girlfriend, Bridget Marquardt, 34, let it slip that the show will feature a huge wedding. For many, that means that perhaps at last 82-year old Hugh Hefner will marry Holly Madison, 28. Bridget also hinted that she and third girlfriend, Kendra Wilkinson, 23, may be moving out of the Playboy Mansion after the show’s fifth season ends.

“She said they will be moving on since Holly is Hef’s main girlfriend,” a source tells OK!. Holly is also getting more involved with the magazine. “Holly is taking a bigger role in the company, directing pictorials,” the source added.Hef’s been married twice before. Do you think he’s ready to give marriage a third try? Will a man who is accustomed to having lots of women be eager to settle down to having just one? Maybe the “rumors” are just a way to stir up interest in the show.

Hugh Hefner & Holly Madison Split!!

Holly Madison and Hugh Hefner
It’s no secret that Holly Madison is in love with Hugh Hefner (maybe his money, but…) and has been hoping to get Hugh’s wedding ring on her finger, it looks like that’s never going to happen.“We are no closer to getting married than we were years ago,” a dejected Holly told Tarts at last week’s “Playmate of the Year” luncheon held at the iconic Mansion. “It’s like a car stalled at the side of the road.”

While the 28-year-old glamour girl may still be holding out for a miraculous jump-start, she found it difficult to deal with her boyfriend’s thoughts on the situation as she sadly turned away while he spoke.“I love Holly very much and I think we’re going to be together the rest of my life,” Hef said. “But marriage isn’t part of my puzzle. It’s not a personal thing; I just haven’t had much luck with marriages.”

But not only is the men’s magazine mogul refusing to commit to just one woman, he’s refusing to give up his passion of perusing pictures of beautiful (yet bare) bodies.“I have no plans to retire,” Hefner added. “It’s the perfect combination of work and play that keeps you young. If I quit work it would be the beginning of the end for me.”Speaking of endings, could his other two “Girls Next Door,” Bridget Marquardt and Kendra Wilkinson, also be getting ready to move on?“My goal is to be hosting my own show and be happily married with children, so I’ve been thinking about that a lot lately,” Bridget said.

‘Girls Next Door’ On Cover of New Playboy!

hot Playboy playmates
Holly Madison, Bridget Marquardt and Kendra Wilkinson — better known as Hugh Hefner’s trio of blonde girlfriends from E!’s “The Girls Next Door‘ reality series — will appear for the third time on the cover of Playboy."It kinda happened by accident,” Hefner told The Associated Press. “It was not the original plan. I knew we were overdue for a cover featuring the girls. For our annual sexiest celebrities list, we always get votes from readers on the Internet of who should be on the top of the list. Lo and behold, as the votes were coming in, we found the girls moving up higher and higher on the list.”

Madison, Marquardt and Wilkinson will be featured together in three different covers for the “25 Sexiest Celebrities” issue. In the newsstand edition cover image, out Feb. 8, the women are clad in glittery lingerie in front of a starry backdrop.Among the celebrities to make Playboy’s list are Jennifer Love Hewitt, Alicia Keys, Cameron Diaz, Beyonce, Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears. Hefner said the top three online celebrity vote-getters were Angelina Jolie, Scarlett Johansson and Jessica Alba, with “The Girls Next Door” coming in fourth place.
