Naomi Campbell Sizzles In At London Fashion Week

It appeared to be the death of the model at London Fashion Week as celebrities dominated the catwalk this season.From Peaches and Pixie Geldof to Big Brother contestant Lisa Wallace, designers continue to buck tradition, choosing 'real women' to showcase their collections.Thankfully for the ailing industry though, runway queen Naomi Campbell has stepped in to revive the dying breed.

The supermodel took the Issa Spring/Summer 2010 show by storm, revealing the same flawless figure she debuted 20 years ago.Naomi, 39, who chooses the designs she wishes to model, opted for a monochrome one-shouldered swimsuit to show off her curves - a move which earned her cheers of approval from the excited audience at Somerset House.

Finishing off with a floor-length hatler-neck gown, Naomi showed her support to Issa designer Daniella Helayel as they held hands to mark the end of the show.Helayel told the Telegraph: 'Naomi is the pure hurricane, she's the best walker on the catwalk, she's the sunshine after the storm.'Every time she walks the audience screams and claps! I am very pleased she wanted to wear three outfits as she only wears what she likes. She is the top model in swim wear and looks better than any 21 year old I know.'

Vogue Italia “A Black Issue”

The highly anticipated Vogue Italia “A Black Issue,” which is devoted to all black models, comes out next week. The issue will feature all of the world’s most beautiful black models as well as actors and singers such as, Naomi Campbell, Tina Turner, Jody Watley, and Iman. Vogue will be the first fashion magazine to publish an issue with only black models. Editor Franca Sozzani, says the idea came to her a few months ago, when they were trying to think of something new to do. She says,

“We were trying to think of something new, Obama was fighting Hillary, and I began to notice that all these girls at fashion shows looked alike. It occurred to me that it would be interesting to see some different girls, black girls, and that was the beginning of the story.”

Using one of the most respected and influential photographers, Steven Meisel, Vogue will publish an essential issue, which will hopefully influence the fashion industry. The 100-page photo spread will also relate the topics to black women in the arts and entertainment. Naomi Campbell is featured in 20 of the pages, of which for many she is topless. Also in the magazine is America’s Next Top Model alum and plus size model, Toccara Jones.Steven Meisel made his mark as an influential fashion eye, when he photographed Madonna with the 1992 Madonna “Sex” book.

Naomi Campbell Received 200 Hrs Community Service

Naomi Campbell has received 200 hours of community service after pleading guilty to assault and disorderly conduct.Naomi admitted to kicking and spitting at police officers after flying into an uncontrollable rage on board an aircraft, while waiting to take off from Heathrow airport.

The 38-year-old screamed abuse at the captain of a British Airways flight after being told one of her bags had gone missing during the luggage problems at the newly-opened Terminal 5 in April.Naomi ordered the captain to get off the plane and look for her suitcase, holding up the flight bound for Los Angeles for almost an hour.

When cabin crew eventually called police to remove her, she refused to get off the plane and accused them of targeting her because she was black.The model pleaded guilty to two counts of assaulting a police officer, one count of disorderly conduct likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress and using threatening, abusive words or behavior to cabin crew.

Meet Marcus Elias, the new boyfriend of supermodel Naomi Campbell.Marcus and Naomi were recently spotted on a Mediterranean cruise, with lots of kissing and cuddling as the couple went around Capri, an island off the coast of Italy. The two have been together off and on since February and have even sparked rumors of an engagement.

Marcus Elias is a Brazilian entrepreneur. He is the owner of Latin American Equity Partners. He is also a billionaire, and his age is 49. Marcus met Naomi in Sao Paulo at a Vogue party in February 2008. They were only spotted off and on until the two rendezvoused at Cannes in May. Since then the two have been inseparable.

When last asked of his rumored girlfriend, though, Marcus said,“I don’t know what you are talking about. It’s not elegant to speak about such things. That was my upbringing - Mum told me not to speak on such matters.”

Naomi Campbell On Ugly Betty

Supermodel Naomi Campbell has got a new job after completing the community service just recently. Naomi is all set to guest-appear in the second season finale of ABC’s hit comedy ‘Ugly Betty‘.Well… she will be playing herself, according to the show’s star Becki Newton.

The actress says: “She’s going to be in our last episode, which is exciting.“I’ve personally requested that I don’t stand next to her because (my character) Amanda would not like to be seen with such a tall, pretty person.”

Campbell was earlier announced as a guest star last year but didn’t appear in the first season, which was cut short because of the writers’ strike.It must be a breather for the top model who was arrested earlier this month on suspicion of assaulting an officer at Heathrow Airport in London and got bad publicity for her behaviour.Other Ugly Betty guest stars include Victoria Beckham and Gene Simmons.

Naomi Campbell Racist Comments!!

Naomi Campbell can now add racist comments to her ever-growing repertoire of quality human traits she possesses. Campbell is claiming her recent arrest occurred only because she is black and police claim she lashed out calling them “f***ing white honkeys” while she was handcuffed and taken into custody.Campbell reportedly lost it when one of her bags turned up missing. She then allegedly spit at officers who came after she caused quite a scene. As the situation escalated, Naomi was arrested, but according to her, the arrest is a result of her color.“It just goes to show I have to fight for who I am. It’s because I’m black.”

British Airlines has also taken notice and given Naomi a lifetime ban from future flights. Her spokeswoman immediately came to Naomi’s defense saying this didn’t sound like anything she would say. But that’s probably because Campbell was holding a Manolo to the woman’s head. It doesn’t sound like the airline is backing down.“All incidents of abusive or disruptive behaviour towards fellow passengers or staff are taken extremely seriously and will not be tolerated.”
