Katie Holmes has a new short haircut. The new Broadway star is sporting a pixie mop haircut, which may be for her character in All My Sons. All My Sons is an Arthur Miller play and it will have preview performances on September 18.

Katie has been setting trends with her haircuts these days. While trendy, I am not sure short hair is the best look for her. She looks so beautiful, not to mention younger, with longer hair. The pixie mop gives eye framing long bangs and a narrowed neck. The haircut is similar to Rhianna’s but with less spunk and style. What are your thoughts on Katie’s pixie cut? Katie Holmes & Her Mysterious Hands!

Katie Holmes has been wearing gloves and long sleeve shirts with the sleeves pulled down over her hands, in order to cover their freakish purple coloration.It’s rumored that Katie may have taken part in a Scientology purification ritual that caused her hands to turn purple.According to reports, the purification ritual is called the Purification Rundown or Purif, which is the process of taking ‘vitamin bombs’ to get ‘toxins’ out of their bodies.

It’s reported that in almost every single case, Scientology founder Hubbard recommends dosages in his teachings that are well above the safe limits, in some cases as much as 142 times more than the toxic level. Suri Cruise Fresh Look!!

I was surfing here and there for a while and stumbled on a photo of Suri Cruise’s new refreshing look with lightened locks. OMG… she is looking so cute!She was spotted with Tom and Katie leaving a Manhattan hotel on Saturday afternoon.Suri sported a new lightened do and carried her milk (and barley?) bottle.

Just look at that cute face! No wonder, she’s being called one of the most beautiful babies in the world.Recently on Oprah, Cruise said he and Holmes want to keep Suri out of the media as long as possible to enjoy the special moments. “We just wanted to have out baby, have the kids and everyone get to know Suri, get the family up here and just chill and have that time that you never get back,” he explained.

She recently celebrated her second birthday when daddy Tom blew off $100k on flowers, “Italian-wedding flavored” cakes and muffins, all in the spirit of Suri’s main obsession: butterflies.“Suri adores butterflies. It was immediate family and their closest friends only. There were no celebrities invited to the daytime bash,” said the source.

Suri Cruise’s $100,000 Birthday Party

Doll baby Suri Cruise turned two this past weekend and to celebrate Tom and Katie spared no expense. The extravagant birthday party was thrown in Tom & Kaite’s Hollywood Hills home, which was decked out with more that $17,000 in flowers. World-renowned chef, and family friend Wolfgang Puck prepared the catering. But the food indulgence didn’t stop there. Tom and Katie splurged on a $5,000 wedding style cake, decorated in green trim and yellow butterflies.

“They’re very specific about what they like,” said Jane Lockhart, whose Sweet Lady Jane Bakery in West Hollywood made the cakes. “They wanted [Suri’s] cake to look simple and childlike so they designed it themselves, which was kind of interesting. They brought in photos they had seen of butterflies and other cakes.”If this is her second birthday can you imagine her sweet 16, or her wedding. She won’t even remember this stuff. Totally unnecessary, you can’t hide craziness with money.

Katie Holmes emerged with yet another short new ‘do on Tuesday. It’s reported that after a string of box office bombs, Mrs. Tom Cruise may be headed to Broadway to star in a revival of Arthur Miller’s “All My Sons.”Sure, her original bob was spot-on and a major inspiration to women wanting to chop off their own locks. But it seems she’s stuck in the vicious cycle short-haired women know all too well.

The Batman Begins actress is said to be in final negotiations to join John Lithgow and Dianne Wiest in Arthur Miller’s post-World War II show, with British newspaper reports claiming she has signed on to begin in May, while Fox News denies so.Holmes would play Ann Deever, a 28-year-old woman whom Miller described as the truth-sayer of the piece.

While many have tried to put the things into perspective after Katie was spotted with her new ‘tomboy’ look… Washington Post has an interesting reason:Katie Holmes is slowly being subsumed by Tom Cruise. The longer she’s in his presence, the shorter her hair (and her chances for a viable career) gets.And this isn’t the first time Katie’s hair has attracted attention. Katie Holmes To Make Her Broadway Debut

Katie Holmes is in final negotiations to make her professional stage debut on Broadway.The producer of a revival of All My Sons, Arthur Miller's heartbreaking, post-World War II family drama, is clearly hoping Holmes (aka the third Mrs Tom Cruise) will create some sizzle at the box office later this year.It would be the first major revival of a Miller play since the dramatist's death three years ago.

All My Sons, to be directed by British-born Simon McBurney, would also allow Holmes to be more than "Mrs Tom Cruise" for six nights a week.The actress has committed to taking part in a private workshop of the play in May. She will play the part of a woman who visits her former neighbours, the family of a missing pilot she once loved.Producer Eric Falkenstein has already cast Broadway veterans John Lithgow and Dianne Wiest, which has had the desired effect of making Ms Holmes more comfortable about taking on her first play since high school.

Holmes has told McBurney and Falkenstein that she is serious about working in the theatre.Indeed, before her life was taken over by the cult of Cruise and turned into celebrity culture chow mein, Ms Holmes enjoyed a fastrising career, beginning with a small role in Ang Lee's powerful movie The Ice Storm.She had a good stint on Dawson's Creek, and several choice film roles in low-budget projects such as Pieces Of April and blockbusters such as Batman Begins.Marriage to Cruise, though, created a dull sensibility about her which had nothing to do with her talent.

“Katie’s a big believer in big families and lots of siblings. It’s how she was brought up. She was always jealous of being so far apart in age from her siblings, so she doesn’t want to space it out too far.”“To be honest, she’s giving up the pipe dream of wanting an Oscar for now.
