Rihanna Sizzles in Sexy Lingerie For Kanye West Video 'Paranoid'

Troubled singer Rihanna has thrown herself into her work since returning to the spotlight. And despite saying little about the alleged attack on her at the hands of ex-boyfriend R&B singer Chris Brown, the 21-year-old is content to let her actions do the talking.Rihanna sizzled in a sheer boned basque as she teamed up with rapper Kanye West in the video for his new track Paranoid.Although she says nothing, her confident appearance speaks volumes.Watch Kanye West "Paranoid" Video here.

Despite it being West's video, he was content to let Rihanna take centre stage and she is seen tossing and turning restlessly in bed and striking a series of seductive poses. She later swaps the rather risque lingerie for an eighties-style white body con dress.Rihanna has appeared at several high profile showbiz events over the last few weeks, while former lover Brown, 20, has been in hiding.

He is set to appear in court today on charges of assaulting Rihanna by ‘means of force likely to produce great bodily injury’ and threatening to commit a crime ‘which would result in death and great bodily injury.’Last night he broke his silence to tell fans he is ‘not a monster’ in a video message posted online marking the first time he has publicly addressed the incident beyond an initial statement in February.

Meanwhile the Umbrella singer has signed to star in new flick Personal Protection, according to US reports.A source said: 'Rihanna will start filming Personal Protection later this year.'She's not ready, acting-wise, yet, so she's meeting with a coach.'

Kris Allen Heartless American Idol May 12 (Video)

Kris Allen Heartless American Idol May 12
Kris Allen Heartless video - Tonight was the time for the top 3 performances on American Idol, and Adam Lambert, Danny Gokey and Kriss Allen each sang one song they choose and another one chosen by the judges.Kris Allen may have had the best performance of the night with his rendition of Heartless, a song by Kanye West. You can check out the Kris Allen Heartless video below:

The night started off with so-so performances from Danny, Kris, and yes, even Adam. His take on U2’s “One” started off strong, but slid into screechy territory. Danny’s song was forgettable, and Kris was too low-key with “Apologize.” The song selections proved the judges don’t have a firm handle on who the singers are as artists. For Round 2, the contestants chose their own songs, and each showed his true “artistry” (shout out to Kara!).

Danny chose the perfect song for his raspy vocals — Joe Cocker’s “You Are So Beautiful”; Kris reinvented Kanye West’s “Heartless,” while Adam rocked it out with Aerosmith’s “Cryin.”Simon astutely reminded the audience not to “assume” that Adam was going to make it to the finals. And indeed, tonight the contestants proved it was best to check your assumptions at the door.

Kris Allen sang "Heartless" by Kanye West on American Idol, May 12.Outstanding performance - probably the best from Kris so far, potentially a game-changer.Randy says "It was better than the original!" ( couldn't agree more with Randy), "you're in it to win it, I love it, baby." Kara calls it "bold, brave, fearless." Paula says you sang a song about Simon; Bravo! Simon loved his performance too.

French Supermodel Inès de la Fressange Stole the Show At Paris Couture

French Supermodel Inès de la Fressange Stole the Show At Paris Couture

As always, this week’s Paris couture shows have been the stomping ground for stick-thin models with high cheek bones and clenched jaws. But Jean-Paul Gaultier is not one to abide by rules. Despite the presence of singers Kanye West and Kylie Minogue, it was the former French supermodel Inès de la Fressange who stole the show.

As the voluptuous 51-year-old strutted down the runway, the crowd cheered this one-time French queen of the catwalk. Clearly moved, she turned to wave at old friends and slipped off a cream jacket in front of the cameras.Mr. Gaultier, also caught up in the moment, chased the former supermodel down the runway and practically wrestled her to the ground during the final moments of the show catching her just before she fell.

Fashion models “are not just 14-year-olds,” Mr. Gaultier said later. “There are no [age] barriers to beauty.” The French designer explained that the curvy Ms. de la Fressange embodied the sexuality demanded his raunchy Spanish themed show, which also featured high-waisted pinstripe pants for women, suspenders and elbow-length gloves.

Ms. de la Fressange in the 1980s was the first model to sign an exclusive modeling contract with a haute couture fashion house — Chanel — and then went on to represent France’s symbol of femininity, Marianne. She described how she felt nervous backstage with the other models, “surrounded by all those sexy little things.”

Kanye West Performs On ‘Saturday Night Live’ (SNL)

Kanye West Performs On ‘Saturday Night Live’ (SNL)

There’s the easy way, and there’s Kanye’s way.Rather than staying in the platinum-dipped, award-winning lane he’s already carved with his previous albums, Kanye West promised to swerve on 808s & Heartbreak, taking the bold step of trying to sing more than rap. We already know 50 Cent’s not that crazy about it, and after ‘Ye’s appearance on “Saturday Night Live” over the weekend, even more people are starting to ask if maybe Yeezy bit off more than he can croon.

Without the assistance of his near-omnipresent vocoder — which he employed more heavily during his VMA debut of “Love Lockdown” in September — to massage his vocals into a robotic smoothness, West’s singing abilities were laid bare during the performance, and his vocals sometimes hit flat spots amid the spare musical accompaniment. That drew some harsh criticism from a number of Web outposts, like this and this. Gawker called it “like a quiet man doing bad karaoke” and headlined its review “Kanye West Disastrously Sings Without Digital Enhancement,” but when TMZ caught up with ‘Ye at the airport on Sunday, he deemed his performance “good” and he was not shy about posting the footage on his blog, where poster “neeomari” referred to the version of “Lockdown” as “hands down the greatest ‘SNL’ performance of all time.”

Kanye West To Perform At The MTV Europe Music Awards

Kanye West To Perform At The MTV Europe Music Awards

When Kanye West performs Thursday at the MTV Europe Music Awards, it will be the second time he's taken the stage at the ceremony — but the first time he's been invited. The rapper stormed the stage at the 2006 awards show in Copenhagen after he failed to win the best-video prize, telling the crowd that "if I don't win, the awards show loses credibility."

The next year the temperamental West vowed he would never return to MTV after he went home empty-handed from the MTV Video Music Awards. The rapper and the music network have since reconciled, and West is scheduled to join a high-profile slate of performers — including Beyonce, Kid Rock and the Killers — in the Beatles' home town of Liverpool for Thursday's show.

Former Beatle Paul McCartney, who was born in Liverpool, is to receive an "ultimate legend" award.MTV Networks International Chairman Bill Roedy said McCartney was "one of the true greats.""Not only has he has been one of the most formative influences on the music scene on a global scale, but he is one of the founding fathers that has earned Liverpool the recent accolade as most musical city in the U.K.," Roedy said.

Britney Spears, Coldplay and Duffy lead the nominations for the annual awards, which are presented in a different European country each year. All three acts are nominated for album of the year, alongside Alicia Keys and Leona Lewis. Spears, Lewis, Coldplay, Rihanna and Amy Winehouse are up for act of the year, while Duffy is competing for best new act against One Republic, Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry and the Jonas Brothers.

The winners are selected by fans across the continent.Pink is among a slew of U.S. and international acts bringing celebrity color to the gray northwestern English city, which has been designated European Capital of Culture for 2008. More than 10,000 music fans were expected to fill the Echo Arena on the bank of the River Mersey for the show, hosted by "I Kissed a Girl" chart-topper Katy Perry.

Kanye West At Bonnaroo

Kanye West
If there’s one musical festival that would be awesome to attend, it’s Bonnaroo. Four days of music, art and movies non-stop on 400 acres in Tennessee where some of the most legendary musicians have come to play (this year Pearl Jam, Metallica, Jack Johnson, Robert Plant, Willie Nelson, B.B. King, Led Zeppelin, Ben Folds, and so many more; last year The Flaming Lips, The Police, Lily Allen, Keller Williams, Ben Harper, and The White Stripes, to name just a few). How could you not love that? But apparently Kanye West ruined it for the fans this year.

Kanye was set to take the stage at Bonnaroo at 2:45 a.m. Unfortunately for his sleepy fans, he was two hours late, so that when he finally arrived on stage, the crowd began chanting “Kanye sucks”. It wasn’t entirely his fault, as Pearl Jam ended late and their roadies had to remove all of their stuff from the stage. But Kanye’s light show and glow in the dark spaceship was so elaborate that it took a while to set up.

And, apparently the tardiness wouldn’t have been so bad if Kanye had at least acknowledged it and the crowd’s patience for waiting around. But instead he let the show go on … and then cut it short. Even the next day, when performer Robert Randolph brought up the prior night’s performance, the fans again broke into a “Kanye sucks” chant. Hopefully the rest of the awesome musicians and comics lined up will ease the pain of one bad performance.

Kanye West & Selita Ebanks Heating Things Up

Kanye West & Selita Ebanks
Model Selita Ebanks has shed the old engagement ring Nick Cannon gave her (see Mariah’s left ring finger) for a fling with ego-maniac Kanye West. The two were seen having dinner together at Tenjune in New York, and even sneaking out afterwards. A source says,

“They were trying to be inconspicuous, but they were smiling and walking real close, and they hopped in a waiting car together laughing and took off.”I knew I haven’t heard any outrageous quotes from Kanye West in a while, maybe it because he finally found his “black Kate Moss.”

Brooke Crittendon Is Dating Kanye West!!

Brooke Crittendon
Brooke Crittendon is in the middle of the recent Kanye West-Alexis Phifer split. The reason why everyone is raising fingers at her is because she was involved in their earlier split in 2004.Well, it’s just pure speculation and spreading like a rumour… but then, we’re here to gossip… aren’t we??There is nothing much known about Brooke, only that she’s an executive assistant at MTV. Kanye and Brooke hooked up four years ago and dated for some time. But, Kanye got back to his senses and patched up with Alexis.

It was only a couple of days back when he dumped Alexis for nothing in particular and gave a vague reasoning for his intentions of breaking up, even after he told GQ last year that he would marry her as part of her late mother’s wishes.“It’s been hard and not been an easy time. I tried to keep things private but yes, it’s sad when things end like this and we truly do remain friends,” Phifer tells US Mag. “I wish him the best in his future and all of his endeavors. He’s one of the most talented people I’ve ever met, that’s for sure.”

Kanye also asked his ring back!“Alexis still doesn’t really know what happened. It’s like she lost her best friend too,” says a source.Seems like the true story will reveal over time.

Kanye West Breaks Down

Just a week after the death of his mother, Donda, Kanye West launched a European tour in Paris on Saturday, but broke down after performing for an hour, according to People.com.

Nearing the end of the more than 60-minute performance, with the riff of "Hey Mama" beginning, West attempted to introduce the tribute to a sold-out crowd at Le Zénith in Paris, saying "this song is for my mother...." and could get no further. He said the word, 'Mother' and just couldn't go any further," Le Parisien journalist Meddy Magloire said. "A back-up singer, the DJ and a guitar player came over to console him. It looked like he might collapse. He just couldn't continue. He just stood there in a spotlight, crying while the band continued playing."

After a few moments of stunned silence, Magloire says, the audience of 5,000 reacted by offering calls of encouragement, which grew into applause. The band restarted the song, but West left the stage, returning after 10-15 minutes to conclude the concert with a rousing performance of "Stronger."

"He was very nervous, seemed to have gathered himself up, and had a lot of energy," Magloire says. "He kept shouting out to the audience, 'I need you... I need you right now.' and the public was screaming back. It was magic."
