Watch the Harry Potter trailer video here. The final theatrical trailer for the highly anticipated Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince has been released.Based on J.K. Rowling’s novel of the same title, it is the sixth movie in the Harry Potter series and the long, long awaited movie which opens in theaters on July 15, 2009 is sure to be a blockbuster. The latest Harry Potter trailer reveals a movie of epic proportions laden with special effects. The studio has kept loyal fans waiting quite awhile for this movie which was originally set for a November 2008 release. Recently the July 17 released was moved ahead two days to July 15. The movie will play in both convention theaters and IMAX theaters.

With the new Harry Potter trailer video we get our first look at some previously unseen footage from the movie. Harry Potter has begun his sixth year at Hogwards and meanwhile his nemesis, Lord Voldemort is causing turmoil and chaos throughout Great Britain. He orders an attack on London and in the trailer we witness the destruction of some of the city’s notable landmarks including Trafalgar Square and the Millennium Bridge.

Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince was directed by David Yates, who also directed the fifth movie in the series, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. David Heyman and David Barron are the producers and the screenplay is by Steve Kloves, who also wrote the screenplays for the first four movies in the series.Once again, Daniel Radcliffe reprises his role as Harry Potter once again along with several returning cast members who include Rupert Alexander as Ron Weasley, Emma Watson as Hermione Granger, with celebrated British actor Sir Michael Gambon as Albus Dumbledore.

J.K. Rowling Nip Slip!

The latest celebrity to fall for a wardrobe malfunction scandal is Harry Potter author J.K.Rowling. Rowling attended the Galaxy British Book Awards on Wednesday night when she almost revealed her boobs in front of press.What prevented the disaster was that her agent Mark Hutchinson dashed forward to put his hand before her boobs and camera eyes… just in time!“It was a perfectly normal awards night until a muggle’s hand became mysteriously attracted to JK’s chamber of secrets,” says the Sun.Looks like he’s groping her!

By the way, Rowling was wearing a figure-hugging purple satin gown.Well if you think it’s a first for her… the you should know that it’s not. On a book tour of the U.S. last year (07), her dress slipped during a reading, exposing her white bra underneath.Joining her in the awards show was busty model Katie Price(Jordan).Jordan has sold just over a million copies of her autobiography Being Jordan and was shortlisted for (but didn’t win) the WH Smith Children’s Book of the Year for My Pony Care Book.

JK Rowling Bashes Harry Potter Fan-Turned-Author

As the creator of the Harry Potter books sees it, her kindness to fans might come back to haunt her.In papers filed for a lawsuit in Manhattan, J.K. Rowling says she feels betrayed by a fan, Steven Vander Ark, for his role in trying to publish an unauthorized reference work, "Harry Potter Lexicon."Ark is editor of a Web site containing a fan-created collection of essays and encyclopedic material on the Potter universe, including lists of spells and potions found in the books, a catalog of magical creatures and a who's who in the wizarding world.

Rowling said she was especially irked that the site's owner and the lexicon's would-be publisher, RDR Books, continued to insist that her acceptance of free, fan-based Web sites justified the efforts."I am deeply troubled by the portrayal of my efforts to protect and preserve the copyrights I have been granted in the Harry Potter books," she wrote in court papers filed Wednesday in a lawsuit she brought against the small Muskegon, Mich., publisher.She said she intends to publish her own definitive Harry Potter encyclopedia.

"If RDR's position is accepted, it will undoubtedly have a significant, negative impact on the freedoms enjoyed by genuine fans on the Internet," she said. "Authors everywhere will be forced to protect their creations much more rigorously, which could mean denying well-meaning fans permission to pursue legitimate creative activities."She added: "I find it devastating to contemplate the possibility of such a severe alteration of author-fan relations."
