Claudine DeMatos Engaged To Raphael De Niro

Claudine DeMatos is a Brazillian beauty engaged to Raphael De Niro, the son of Robert De Niro.The De Niro - DeMatos wedding is scheduled to take place March 8th at the Ocean Club in the Bahamas.Claudine has been around the social scene of New York for quite awhile after graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Advertising and Marketing Communications. Before becoming a partner at Prudential Douglas Elliman with De Niro, Claudine was Naomi Campbell’s partner at the public relations firm, NC Connect. This partnership seemed to have a falling out when Claudine had a run-in with the law in 2003. Naomi suspended Claudine when Campbell learned DeMatos was “being prosecuted for allegedly peddling the date-rape drug GHB on the Internet” after a July 2000 arrest. Claudine’s lawyers insisted she was minimally involved and the substance was not a scheduled controlled substance at the time.

Claudine credits herself with understanding the concept of luxury after growing up on the North Shore of Long Island and traveling throughout the U.S., Europe, South America, and the Caribbean.
