David Archuleta Performs “Imagine” On American Idol

David Archuleta did it again. Last night he had an incredible performance on American Idol with his beautiful rendition of “Imagine” by John Lennon.The theme for the show were songs from the 70’s and once again, David Archuleta wowed everyone. Teens in the audience were screaming for him and Paula was her usual emotional self. She kind of creeped me out with what she said to him after his performance.

“David, I want to squish you, squeeze your head off and dangle you from my rear view mirror. Honest to God that was one of the most beautiful songs ever written and one of the most moving performances I have ever heard. You’re destined for superstardom.”Gah she is just a freak. Anyways, he put his own spin on the song and hands down it was the best cover of “Imagine” I have ever heard. You did John Lennon proud, David!
