Dayanara Torres Is The Ex-wife of Marc Anthony

Dayanara Torres is an actress, singer, and former Miss Universe. Dayanara is also the ex-wife of Marc Anthony.Dayanara was married to Marc Anthony in May of 2000 and she filed for divorce in January 2004. The couple have two sons together, and with the birth of Marc’s twins by Jennifer Lopez and older daughter, Anthony now has five children.

Dayanara Torres was born October 28, 1974 in Toa Alta, Puerto Rico, which makes her age 33. According to her, she was born into a “poor, very loving and close-knit family.” During high school, she was a straight-A student and planned on attending college to become an orthodontist. That plan was never realized because in her senior year she was approached while walking through the Plaza de Toa Alta. She was asked to participate in the Miss Puerto Rico pageant. Not only did she participate, Dayanara’s 5′ 8″ height, blue eyes and black hair helped her go on to beat 78 women and become the youngest Miss Universe ever.

This honor opened many doors for Dayanara and she was featured on magazines such as Cosmopolitan, People en Espanol, and Marie Claire. She also did television commercials for Diet Coke, Vidal Sassoon, and Rayban. She was offered gigs to host TV shows and became very popular in Puerto Rico and the Phillipines starring in films like ‘Linda Sara,’ ‘As Long As We’re Together’ and ‘You Belong To Me.’ She also appeared on ‘The Young and the Restless’ and was a correspondent for ‘Access Hollywood.’ Dayanara is also a singer, but as a discography, she has only released one album called ‘Antifaz.’
