Carmit Bachar Leaves Pussycat Dolls!!
A Pussycat Doll is no more: Singer Carmit Bachar has announced that she has left the sexy pop group."I wanted to be the first to tell you that I'm no longer with the Pussycat Dolls but we will always be sisters forever," Bachar, 33, wrote Saturday on the group's official Web site, before thanking fans for their "unconditional love and support."Carmit Bachar sparked rumors of a solo project in February of this year. Today, her announcement of her decision to leave the Pussycat Dolls seems to confirm those rumors.
Carmit is the only redhead in the PCD’s and is known for her unique looks. Her father is Israeli and her mother is Dutch, Indonesian and Chinese, which gives Carmit her unique beauty. She was born with a cleft lip, so as her success grew she started a charity “Smile With Me,” for children and adults with cleft lips. Carmit was born in Encino, Ca. on September 4, 1974, making her 33. Both her parents were dancers, and now dancing is one of Carmit’s wonderful talents. She joined the Pussycat Dolls in 1995, when they were just a burlesque show. The other main vocalists of the group joined in 2002-2003. Last month rumors flew that she was leaving the internationally successful girl group, and today those rumors were confirmed.
