Jenn Sterger was born in Miami, but grew up in Tampa. She was very successful academically throughout high school and was involved in both National Honor Society and Beta Club. Sterger went on to attend the University of South Florida, but before the start of her junior year, she transferred to Florida State. Jenn was a self-described shy girl before attending FSU and was even in the band. She played the flute and was a drum major.
