Kevin Cronin To participate In "Don't Forget the Lyrics"
REO Speedwagon's Kevin Cronin will play 'Don't Forget The Lyrics' this week.The celebrity edition of the game show will air this Thursday night on FOX in the USA.Cronin will compete to raise money for the MusiCares charity, while Poison's Bret Michaels, in another show, hopes to take home his kitty for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.The line-up for the celebrity shows also features Boyz II Men, Kimberley Locke, Gloria Gaynor and Kenny Loggins.
Cronin may have to Tivo his episode. The show airs on the same day that the REO Speedwagon US tour gets underway in Greensboro, NC.REO Speedwagon are about to hit the road with Def Leppard and Styx."We played with Def Lep in Indianapolis, Columbus, and Pittsburgh last summer, and drew over twenty-thousand people at every show," says Kevin Cronin. "We're definitely gonna melt some snow this time out...and warm some hearts as well. I bet our bass player, Bruce, twenty bucks that Phil (Colin) and Vivian (Campbell) would actually keep their shirts on for these shows...it gets kinda chilly up in Canada this time of year."
REO Speedwagon lay claim to one of the biggest selling albums in America. 'Hi Infidelity' sold more than 10 million units in the USA in the mid 80s. REO Speedwagon hits include 'Keep On Loving You' and 'Can't Fight This Feeling'.Their current album 'Find Your Own Way Home' was released last year.
