Lisa Marie Presley Sues Over Overweight Allegations!!

Lisa Marie Presley is pissed at the Daily Mail for publishing an article alleging she is overweight and is suing over them over it. She claims the story which was republished worldwide forced her to confirm she's not fat, she's just knocked up. Simon Smith, her UK lawyer said that Lisa Marie was "deeply upset and offended" when reports claimed she had an "unhealthy appetite" and is "growing like her dad."

She described the press on her MySpace page:"How they have handled themselves with this has been nothing short of irresponsible and disgusting."She also said:"I have had to show my cards and announce under the gun and under vicious personal attack that I am in fact pregnant. Now that things are confirmed, hopefully they can stop all of the harassment and I can stop dodging the continuous bullets."

I honestly feel bad for her. No one wants to be cast in an unflattering way, especially when the rumors are completely false. Lisa Marie may also be feeling more sensitive right now due to pregnancy hormones. While I don't blame her for being offended, it's too bad she feels she has to sue the papers over it though. However, I agree that the comments comparing her to her dad's overweight figure before he died crossed the line - I'm sure that was very painful for her to read.
