Suzanne Shaw Is Winner Of Dancing On Ice

Suzanne Shaw is the winner of this season’s “Dancing on Ice” and the new lingerie model for Asda.Suzanne Shaw was crowned the winner of Britain’s “Dancing on Ice” last night, beating out the previously-favored actor Chris Fountain. Now Shaw is taking that newly cut physique and putting it to work as a lingerie model for Ultimo’s Asda line.Suzanne Shaw was born September 29, 1981 in Greater Manchester, England, so her age is 26. At age 3 Suzanne began studying dance and soon studied acting as well, participating in a production of “Annie” at age 6. Suzanne also enjoys music, performing in an ABBA tribute band and studying the saxophone, the violin and the recorder.

In 2001, Suzanne landed her big break when she and four other girls won the British talent show, “Popstars”. The five girls formed the pop singing group Hear’Say and released the album called Popstars which sold 1.2 million copies in the UK. After two more albums, the band broke up on October 1, 2002. Since then Suzanne has focused on musical theater and also appeared in a couple television shows.From 2003 to 2005, Suzanne dated English actor Darren Day. They had a son together in December 2004, Corey Mackenzie Day, but Darren broke up with her the following February after announcing “I don’t do family”. Suzanne is now dating DJ Jason King.

In 2008, Suzanne appeared on the 3rd season of “Dancing on Ice”. After being criticized for skating less than other contestants and chipping a bone in her ankle, Suzanne skated to victory. She won the competition on March 16, 2008 and is looking to make £1 million from the win.She has scored even more with a £100,000 lingerie campaign with Ultimo. She has replaced Ruby Stewart as the spokesmodel. Of the modeling, Suzanne says,“I thought I’d be really nervous modelling for the photos but I feel so much fitter and more comfortable with my body after all the ice skating that I loved it. And as a mum it’s great to be given the opportunity to model lingerie as all mums should feel confident and sexy!”
