Teri Garr Is A Talented Actress!!

Teri Garr is a comedian and actress best known for her role in the movie ‘Tootie.Teri Garr has recently come clean about a time she took revenge on a cheating boyfriend. She received a phone call that sent her into a rage.“My phone rings at 4:30 in the morning,” says Garr, “and this woman says ‘Is this Teri Garr? Because I’ve been sleeping with your boyfriend since August.””

Immediately, Garr threw all his belongings in a box along with a hammer. She drove directly to his house and proceeded to smash out all of his windows. The boyfriend was home at the time and called police. When officers arrived, they thought Garr was the one who needed help. She told them she was okay and they left. No charges were ever filed.

Teri Garr was born in Lakewood, Ohio on December 11, 1944, which makes her age 63. Teri attended Magnificat HS, an all-girl’s Catholic high school. She began her acting career as an extra in the film ‘A Swingin’ Affair.’ She then went on to dance in several Elvis movies and finally more significant roles in ‘Young Frankenstein’ and ‘Mr. Mom,’ but it was her portrayal as Dustin Hoffman’s friend in ‘Tootsie’ that got her an Oscar nomination.Garr has also appeared in several television series, including ‘Star Trek,’ hosting ‘Saturday Night Live’ and most recently as Phoebe’s birth mother in ‘Friends.’Teri is a huge advocate for Multiple Scelrosis after being diagnosed with it herself. She lived with MS for a long time before telling Larry King about her battle in 2002.

She is now a National Ambassador for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and National Chair for the Society’s Women Against MS program. Teri received the honor of Ambassador of the Year in 2005. It was only the 4th time the society gave the award.Teri currently lives in Los Angeles with her 13-year-old adopted daughter.
