Gina Michaells Is A Filipina Country Singer

Gina Michaells is in the news as she just debuted a video of her single, Somebody’s Angel, on YouTube on Monday, and already has amassed over 800,000 views! Gina Michaells was born and raised in the Philippines. Unfortunately I don’t have any information on her age. I’m guessing she’s in her mid 30’s. When Gina was younger, she loved to listen to the sweet tones of country music stars such as Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn, Dolly Parton and Tammy Wynette. These were the influences that have helped shape Gina into the country music singer she is today.

She started singing at an early age and began performing at local fairs and festivals in the provinces at the tender age of 6. She sang all the way through high school and college, and would sing with several cover bands throughout the Philippines. At 20 years of age, she wanted to branch out and ended up traveling all over the world for the next 10 years, singing with different bands along the way. She has sung in Japan, Indonesia, Greenland, Singapore and Malaysia, just to name a few. Gina currently makes her home in Norway.
