2008 MTV Movie Awards Winners

It’s that time of the year again…the 2008 MTV Movie Awards….see a complete list of nominees and winners below.Mike Myers will serve as host for the 2008 MTV Movie Awards, which will be broadcast Sunday, June 1st from the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, California.

Leading the pack of nominees include the hilarious comedy “Superbad”, which was nominated for Best Movie, Best Comedic Performance by Jonah Hill and in the Best Newcomer category, Jonah Hill, Christopher Mintz-Plasse and Michael Cera were nominated. Michael Cera is up for Best Male Performance in “Juno”, which was also nominated for Best Movie, and he and Ellen Page were nominated for Best Kiss.

Adam Sandler will be presented with the MTV Generation Award, where he will be recognized for his “amazing contribution to Hollywood”. He joins the likes of previous Generation Award winners Jim Carrey, Tom Cruise and Mike Myers. His latest film, You Don’t Mess With The Zohan, opens June 6th.
