Amy Winehouse Has Emphysema!

Amy Winehouse has damaged her lungs so badly by smoking crack cocaine and cigarettes that she now has emphysema and must wear an oxygen mask unless she stops.Amy Winehouse’s father said during an interview that Amy has developed emphysema and that doctors have warned her that unless she stops smoking drugs she will die. Emphysema is an incurable disease that leaves its victims struggling for breath.“She’s got emphysema. It’s in its early stages, but had it gone on for another month they painted a very vivid picture of her sitting there like an old person with a mask on her face struggling to breathe.

Amy Jade Winehouse was born on September 14, 1983 in London. She is known for her eclectic mix of R & B, jazz and soul. Her debut album in 2003 did well and was nominated for the Mercury Prize in Britain. In 2006 her follow-up album, Back to Black, was nominated for six Grammy Awards, and ended up winning five of them - tying the record for the most wins by a female artist in a single night. It also made her the first British singer to win five Grammys - including Best New Artist, Record of the Year and Song of the Year. In February 2007 she won a BRIT Award for Best British Female Artist.

Unfortunately, Amy Winehouse has received attention apart from being an award winning singer. Her signature beehive hairstyle is the most innocuous of her distinctions. She has publicly struggled with drug and alcohol addiction, as well as self-destructive behaviors. She and her husband have been involved in legal troubles, too.
