“Heather has been dealing with anxiety and depression. She requested an in-depth evaluation of her medication and entered into a medical facility for proper diagnosis and treatment,” says Locklear’s rep, Cece Yorke. “This is a confidential medical matter and no further statement will be released.”

Heather Locklear was born on September 25, 1961 in Los Angeles, California. She is best known as Amanda on Melrose Place. Besides Melrose Place, Heather starred in three other popular television shows: Dynasty in the 1980s, T.J. Hooker in the mid-190s (with William Shatner), and Spin City with Michael J. Fox. She is credited with saving Melrose Place when it was on the brink of cancellation.She was married to Tommy Lee from 1986 to 1993. She was then married to Richie Samboro from 1995 to 2007. She and Richie have one daughter, Ava Elizabeth who was born on October 4, 1997.
