Leah Green Is Miss London!

Meet Leah Green, the size twelve model who won Miss London and will compete in the Miss England competition this coming July.Leah Green is a gorgeous woman who beat out hundreds of Miss London hopefuls. At a size twelve she was rejected by many modeling agencies. After winning Miss London last week she is now going on to compete in the Miss England competition, where she hopes to take home that title as well.

Leah Green’s biography is a bit vague as she is just coming into the limelight. She is a 22-year-old beauty of Jewish heritage. She graduated from The London College of Fashion and landed a job as a design assistant at the French Connection. As an aspiring fashion designer, Leah was also interested in modeling. However, her measurements were a bit too large for the average modeling agency. Standing at 5’10, and being a size 12, she was rejected and told she was too fat and “needed to work hard to achieve the gaunt look.” Now, with her new title, Leah hopes to be a role model for voluptuous, curvy girls.

She says,“I want to show people that you don’t have to be a size zero to be beautiful.”Last Wednesday, Leah Green was announced the winner of Miss London at Movida, a nightclub in London. Beating out hundreds of girls Leah, and her friends and family were ecstatic.She says,“I was in shock but it was amazing to receive my crown, trophy and sash. My best friend Emma burst into tears and all I could see was my boyfriend Matt’s huge smile.”Winning Miss London has given Green the confidence to take on the Miss England competition. The Miss England competition will take place at the Troxy in Stepney, London.
