Lynsi Smigo Is Opie’s Girlfriend

Lynsi Smigo, the girlfriend of Opie, a.k.a. Gregg Hughes, a radio personality on XM Radio.Lynsi recently filed a lawsuit against the New York Post for defamation. She claims they printed a false story which alleged Opie’s girlfriend made a sex tape with everyone’s favorite Jackass, Bam Margera. The story on ran on April 23, 2008, and sourced regular informant Chaunce Hayden, who said he heard the story from a former employee of the Opie and Anthony radio show. The Post has since retracted and accused Hayden of providing erroneous information. Lynsi is asking for $10 million.

Lynsi Smigo is age 25 and the fiancee of the radio host known as Opie. The couple live together in New York. She graduated from Archbishop Ryan High School and attended Drexel University.The lawsuit is currently pending in the New York State Supreme Court.

Lynsi and Hughes were engaged in September 2007. The story of the alleged Lynsi Smigo sex tape broke in April 2008. At the time, Hughes was said to be “livid”. However, during an appearance on his radio show, both Margera and Opie vehemently denied the existence of any tape. They even offered up $100,000 each to the person who could show them the tape.
