The Next Food Network Star Premiere

Tonight, June 1, 2008, is the start of another reality television show sure to get your mouth watering. Like “Top Chef”, “Hell’s Kitchen”, and “The Next Iron Chef of America”, the latest in food-related reality television pits several chefs against each other, and we get to watch as they get eliminated one-by-one. Tonight is “The Next Food Network Star” premiere.

The contestants on “The Next Food Network Star” are competing for their ultimate dream job: their own show on Food Network. Therefore, the attributes of the contestants are little different than other chef competition shows - these people need to know food, but they also need to be personable and work with the camera.

This will be the fourth season of the show, with chef Bobby Flay as head judge. Of the contestants, he says,They’re never ready for how intense it is.
