Bailey Hanks Wins Legally Blonde Musical

In an exciting hour of television on MTV, the hit Broadway musical Legally Blonde revealed its new Elle Woods. Tonight saw Bailey Hanks winning the part with her “name up on that list,” after giving a truly winning audition for the show’s director Jerry Mitchell and the panel. Bailey’s family was on hand to lend an extra layer of emotion to a delightful audition performance. You can get Bailey’s single version of the show’s song So Much Betteron itunes. Her six month contract as Elle has begun, and her first show is Wednesday. With her genuine passion for the part, and enthusiastic take on Elle, we are excited to see her in the role. Hanks will replace Tony nominee Laura Bell Bundy as Elle Woods on Broadway in New York. She will reportedly hit the stage in Legally Blonde the Musical July 23 at 8 PM.The song “So Much Better” by Hanks will hit iTunes on July 22. Online chatter says the Hanks won back in March of this year for the series that is pretaped.Bailey Hanks is from Nashville.
