Will Smith claims that his open marriage with wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, is one of the secrets to their long term marriage.Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith have one of Hollywood’s longest marriages - ten years and counting. In a recent interview Smith claims that having an open marriage is one of the secrets to their success.

“Our perspective is, you don’t avoid what’s natural and you’re going to be attracted to people.” he says.“And if it came down to it, then one would say to the other: ‘Look, I need to have sex with somebody. Now, I’m not going to if you don’t approve of it’.”Smith explains that they’ve had an open relationship since day one of their marriage. He goes on to list the other things that helps keep their relationship strong: keeping in shape, communication and lots of sex - to name three.

Will says one of the key ingredients to their happiness and mutual devotion is that they’re completely transparent with each other.“I’m not going to say anything to my buddies that’s any different than what I say to my wife. Our perspective is, you don’t avoid what’s natural and you’re going to be attracted to people.” Will Smith reports that neither he nor Jada have acted on their attractions, but if either of them do decide they want to sleep with someone else, they will ask for the other’s approval first.
