Derrick Barry Is Britney Spears Impersonator

Meet Derrick Barry, the Britney Spears impersonator who has made it to the semi finals on America’s Got Talent.Derrick Barry may not sing, but he can still do an amazing impression if pop star Britney Spears. Barry looks so much like the pop star and did such a sexy performance that AGT judge David Hasselhoff said he was left questioning he sexuality. He began acting when he was twelve and between junior high, high school, and college he was in over 30 theatre productions. When he was 19 he moved to Hollywood to pursue acting.

It was on Halloween of 2003 that Derrick Barry found his niche. As his costume he dressed up as mega star, Britney Spears. Everyone told him how much he resembled Spears and in November of 2003 he preformed as Britney on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Britney Spears herself was there and seemed pretty impressed with his likeness to her and his lip synching dance act. Derrick calls that day one of the most exciting days in his life. In the summer of 2004 Derrick Barry moved to Las Vegas and joined the cast of An Evening at La Cage at The Riviera Hotel and Casino on The Strip. He is now a contestant on the summer reality show, America’s Got Talent, where he has made it to the semi-finals impersonating Britney Spears.
