Tatia Starkey Is Ringo Starr’s Granddaughter

Meet Tatia Starkey, a.k.a. Veronica Avant, the granddaughter of Beatle Ringo Starr and an up-and-coming musician in her own right.Tatia took the stage over the weekend in one of her first big concerts as the guitarist for her band, Belakiss. The gig was at the Barfly in London. She uses the stage name Veronica Avant.

Tatia Starkey was born on September 5, 1985, so her age is 22 years old. She is the daughter of Zak and Maureen Starkey, now divorced. Her grandfather is Beatles giant Ringo Starr, and her father has played drums for such bands as The Who and Oasis. Although also a musician, Tatia took a different angle and picked up the guitar instead of drums. She says her father tried to teach her the piano when she was little, but she wasn’t interested.

At age 19, Tatia was photographed performing as an erotic dancer. She danced with the troupe Narni Shakers under the name Tasher where she was called “an eye-catcher … sexy, slick and hard to miss”.
