Victoria Gotti Is John Gotti’s Daughter
Victoria Gotti, the daughter of convicted mobster John Gotti who started writing her memoirs about growing up Gotti.Victoria Gotti was recently sued by HarperCollins, her publisher, because she neither wrote her memoir nor returned the $70,000 advance. The complaint was filed June 5 in a New York State Supreme Court. It stated that Victoria did not submit the memoir that she was obligated to, and that the two outlines submitted were “unacceptable”.
Now to add to her troubles, her brother John A. Junior Gotti was arrested for racketeering and complicity in the slaying of people years ago.Victoria Gotti was born on November 27, 1962 in Brooklyn, New York, so her age is 45. Her father was John Gotti, the Gambino crime boss who was sentenced to life in prison for racketeering and murder. Her ex-husband, Carmine Agnello, was also sentenced in 2001 to nine years for racketeering and extortion. Victoria and Carmine divorced in 2003 after Victoria claimed “constructive abandonment” (the two had not had sex for over a year owing to his jail sentence). In the end, Victoria received $25,000 per month for alimony and child support, plus the Long Island mansion worth almost $4 million.
She used to work as a columnist for the New York Post, and currently writes for Star Magazine. Victoria and her three sons appeared in a reality television show on A&E entitled “Growing Up Gotti” about her life.The memoir was not the first book attempted by Victoria. She also published a cookbook, “Hot Italian Dish”, and three other books: “The Senator’s Daughter”, “I’ll Be Watching You”, and “Superstar”.
