America’s Got Talent Top 5:Americas Got Talent Finalists

America chose the final 5 top acts for America’s Got Talent this week. Joining the others were Nuttin’ But Stringz, Kaitlyn Maher, Eli Mattson, Donald Braswell, and the judges chose The Tapping Dads over Bryan Cheatham. Honestly, I felt there were better acts on other nights that deserved a top 20 spot over The Tapping Dads, but that is just me.

Now that the Top 20 have been chosen, ten of them performed last night:

The Cadence: The judges loved them because they took their advice and stepped it up.
Queen Emily: Great as usual.
The Wright Kids: They did well, but I am still not feeling it.
The James Gang: I loved them, but Sharon said they keep going down since their first appearance.
Daniel Jens: Piers told him he wasn’t as good as some of the other Top 20 singers.
The Zooperstars!: All the sudden, all the judges are ready to see them go.
Neal E. Boyd: Piers thinks he can win the whole thing.
Jessica Price: Piers still thinks she is not bringing as much as she should.
Extreme Dance FX: The judges loved them, yet they bore me.
Paul Salos: Despite monitor problems, he did well.

Out of this top 10, I can see very few acts really being successful in Las Vega. The Wright Kids would be great in Branson, but not Vegas. Queen Emily, the James Gang, the Cadence, Paul Salos – yes, I can see them in Vegas. Maybe Vegas is the wrong winning venue for this show.The good news is that last year’s winner Terry Fator will be back on Wednesday night to perform.
