Bill Clinton On The View
“The View” has had its fair share of politicians and presidential candidates (even John McCain), but I bet the television viewers will have seen nothing like this before. On Monday’s episode of the ever-controversial hit daytime talk show, former President and husband of a Senator, Bill Clinton, will appear.
While Bill Clinton as a guest on “The View” would spark some interesting political debate and commentary on the current presidential election, he isn’t on the show to become another talking head about Sarah Palin’s family drama (although we might hear about that, too). Instead, Clinton will be speaking about the Clinton Global Initiative. He will be the only guest for the duration of the hour-long program.
Executive producer Bill Geddie says of the appearance,“We’re very excited. As a former leader of the free world he may be in for his biggest challenge — sitting down with the ladies of ‘The View’.”The Clinton appearance is part of the show’s “Red, White & View” campaign. The ladies of daytime glory are taking time before the election to encourage Americans to practice some civic responsibility, no matter your affiliation with elephants and donkeys.
