Cynthia and Alex Rodriguez Have Settled Their Divorce

Alex Rodriguez and his estranged wife Cynthia have settled their divorce, says the New York Daily News. The settlement brings an end to the ex-couple’s five year marriage, as well as their months-long public fallout which saw various reports link the Yankees all-star to Madonna.
"Cynthia and Alex Rodriguez have amicably resolved their dissolution of marriage proceedings," A-Rod’s lawyer, Alan Kluger, said in a statement.

Kluger didn’t divulge details of the settlement.Alex and Cynthia have two young daughters together. Last month, the NYDN reported that the ex-couple was quietly negotiating the divorce deal to protect their children.Prior to that, A-Rod filed court papers requesting that his prenup be enforced and that allegations of "extramarital affairs and other misconduct" be stricken from the record.Cynthia Rodriguez filed for divorce, claiming her husband was unfaithful and had "emotionally abandoned" her. The petition came soon after news reports linked A-Rod to Madonna. The Grammy winner denied she and the slugger were having an affair.
