Jessica Alba in bondage? When it comes to voting, I guess she means business. Jessica Alba joined the Declare Yourself Campaign, which is a non-profit organization that encourages young people to vote. Jessica’s public service announcement for Declare Yourself is definitely screaming for attention. In the S&M inspired ad Jessica is crying with shiny black electrical tape covering her mouth and naked body, while the message reads:“Only you can silence yourself. Make them hear you. Register to vote now…”

Jessica told people magazine,“I think it is important for young people to be aware of the need we have in this country to get them more active politically. People respond to things that are shocking. If you don’t register and vote and make a difference, and hopefully change the bad things that are happening in our country, you are essentially just binding and muzzling yourself.”

In 2004 Christina Aguilera also took photos for the Declare Yourself Campaign, but hers were much tamer, featuring Christina’s lips sewn shut with the same message across the billboard. The Declare Yourself Campaign was launched in 2004 with Christina Aguilera and Jonathan Bennett.The thing that perplexes me about Jessica is her need to always bee sexy, yet says she doesn’t want to attract attention to herself for that reason.
