Gossip Girl Taylor Momsen is scheduled to return to the set on Friday after being hospitalized last week for what her doctor called a “severe, potentially life-threatening throat infection.” GG star Taylor Momsen was released Wednesday afternoon from L.A.’s Cedars-Sinai Medical Center after being treated for a scary throat infection since Sunday.

It seems Taylor was in L.A. to take a school exam for her GED when she “woke up with a sore throat,” a source said. Hmm. I wonder if she has been kissing a certain co-star too much?“She thought it was just a common cold, but was advised to see an ear, nose and throat specialist before getting on a plane back to New York,” the source adds.After discovering how serious the situation was, her mom flew out to get her, and flew back to NYC with Taylor to continue work on GG. Feel better!

It was just last month that this 15 year old former child star showed she has a wild side. Photos surfaced in September of Taylor at a club, looking like a hot mess and kissing a female friend. And some say something is definitely going on between the blonde cutie and her 23-year-old costar Chace Crawford.
