Christian Bale Freaks Out On the Set of Terminator Salvation

It appears that actor Christian Bale may have lost his mind temporarily on the set of the movie Terminator Salvation. Bale, reportedly went on a tirade and freaked out after Shane Hurlbut, director of photography, walked through a scene in which Bale was participating.

Bale, who is no stranger to violent outbursts, was arrested last year for allegedly assaulting his mother and sister, what a guy! The charges were later dropped. Hurlbut, the films director of photography, walks on set and Bale becomes enraged. Not only does he hurl expletives at Hurlbut, but he also threatens him and demands that he is fired.

After Hurbut apologizes, Bale reportedly shouts “No, don’t just be sorry. Think for one [expletive] second. What the [expletive] are you doing? Are you a professional or not?”As Hurlbut responds calmly, Bale only seems to grow more angry.“Am I gonna [expletive] rip your lights down in the middle of the scene? Then why the [expletive] are you walking right through ‘Duh-duh-duh-duh-duh’ in the background,” Bale allegedly says. “What the [expletive] is with you? What the [expletive] don’t you understand?”

Bale has been called a very professional actor, and it has been noted that his outburst was uncharacteristic for him. I don’t know about you but it sounds more like it was without character to me.
