Katy Perry is never one to shy away from an extravagant outfit.And the eccentric singer didn't disappoint her fans when she took to the stage in Los Angeles for her Hello Katy tour.The 24-year-old dazzled the crowd in a shimmering gold dress which gave them an eyeful of her ample cleavage.During the energetic show she treated the audience to a spot of acrobatics as she practiced her star jumps and even bent over to touch her toes.The high-octane performance is no surprise from the U.S. star who has become known as much for her zany fashion sense as her number one hit I Kissed the Girl.


It seems the eccentric performer intends to surprise her fans with more strange behaviour in 2009.The attention-seeking singer recently told the Daily Star: 'You're gonna see me with all kinds of different things. 'Maybe you won't expect it, but that's what I like to do - keep people on their toes.'Katy added that she had no intention of following the trends set by established artists.‘What's the point of being in pop if you're going to be a wind-up doll?’The I Kissed A Girl singer recently split from Gym Class Heroes frontman Travis McCoy after a one-year relationship.Travis, 27, had previously credited Perry for helping him to turn his life around during a dark period of depression.
