'The Real Housewives of New York City' Premieres

Following the conclusion of The Real Housewives of Orange County, Bravo's favorite Manhattan ladies will return tonight at 11pm for yet another season of The Real Housewives of New York City.Kelly Bensimon has yet to demonstrate why Bravo even bothered adding her to its Real Housewives franchise. She fits in on paper: She's rich, a former model, the ex-wife of fashion photographer Gilles Bensimon, has two daughters, is a writer-journalist

In tonight's second season premiere called “There's a New Girl in Town,” viewers will be introduced to new cast member Kelly Killoren Bensimon, who will join original cast members Alex McCord, Bethenny Frankel, Jill Zarin, Luann de Lesseps and Ramona Singer as they give viewers a personal glimpse of the New York social scene while they juggle motherhood and their demanding careers. The drama kicks off as Jill's interview with the New York Post puts her in hot water while Bethenny spends the summer with Jill at her Hamptons estate and LuAnn introduces Kelly to the other ladies.

Throughout the new season of The Real Housewives of New York City, Alex and devoted husband Simon will work on a major home renovation project, which is the next step to what will help them complete their dream Brooklyn home. At the same time, newly single Bethenny is taking the Hamptons and Manhattan by storm, managing her career as a natural food chef and diving into the dating scene. Jill, on the other hand, will help her friend Christina with a major charity event, "People Reaching Out," and will focus on the renovations of her entire Upper East Side apartment. Like the other ladies, Luann is busy as well, pursuing her career as a writer by working on a book called Class with the Countess, which will be released in April. As for Ramona, she continues running her business R.M.S. Fashions, as well as her successful line of jewelry.
