Chris Brown Has Been Charged For Rihanna Assault

Chris Brown appeared in court and has been charged with two felonies.The R&B ‘Forever’ singer Chris Brown, 19, has been charged with two felony counts; felony assault and making criminal threats against ‘Umbrella’ pop singer Rihanna, 21, who is called by her real name, Robyn F., in court documents.

In court, his attorney Mark Geragos did not enter a plea to the two Chris Brown Felonies and the judge granted Brown’s request for a continuance to April 6, 2009.As if the shocking photo which TMZ leaked to the world of a beaten-up, battered Rihanna were not disturbing enough, there are now the details of what happened that night, the wee hours of February 8, 2009 when Chris Brown beat Rihanna so badly she needed medical care.

Chris Brown felonies are revealed in court documents which have been made public and can be read in their entirety here, revealing what happened that night. Rihanna and Chris Brown were in the car, as she read him a text message. He is alleged to have tried to force her out of the car, but her seat belt restrained her. It was than that he began beating Rihanna with his fists while still driving, according to the arrest warrant.

Disturbing details emerge, that the Rihanna assault was so bad her blood was splattered all over the interior of the car, that Chris Brown repeatedly bit her ears and fingers, that he threatened to kill her, and that he choked her until she nearly lost consciousness.Despite the violent assault against her, Rihanna was able to call her assistant to alert her and to tell her to have the police waiting for her at home.

In an interview, her father, Ronald Fenty,talked about the family’s pain over the Rihanna assault. “Justice can never be served in this situation…He can’t feel the pain she felt. I don’t believe in hitting a woman. I hope everything works out better for them. I don’t feel happy or sad. He’s in the court’s hands. Let justice prevail.”If convicted, the Chris Brown felonies could cause the singer to face up to four years and eight months in prison.
