By following a sensible diet and restricting carbs (having no carbs at all after midday) plus a daily workout, she has dropped from a size 12 to a size 8 and lost two stone in the past year. Celebrating her slim new look, she recreated the Cindy Crawford Allure magazine photo shoot, wearing a black swimsuit and ripping up a loaf of white bread.

In an interview with Closer Magazine, she said: “I have never ever been thin in my life and I still don’t consider myself thin, I just consider myself thinner than I was. So that’s never been at the forefront of my mind, because I don’t think I’ve ever given a bad body image.”What young women out there need to realise is we are absolutely normal. A lot of us are size 10, size 12 and that is normal, and look great.”


Michelle Heaton was born on July 19, 1980, in Gateshead, England so her age is 28. Her measurements are 5′4″ tall. She attended Emmanuel City Technology College in Gateshead.As a professional singer, Michelle Heaton got her start with the girl band Sirens in the north east of England. She later auditioned and made the final ten for girl band Girl Thing. Her stint on the ITV reality television show Popstars bought her fame, as she reached the final ten though not selected to be a member of the band Hear’Say.

With four others from the program who competed but were not selected, the girl band Liberty X was founded, and they signed a record deal with Virgin Records.Liberty X was active from 2001 to 2005 with seven Top 10 singles. Their biggest hit, “Just a Little”, topped the charts in 2002. The band released three studio albums, Thinking It Over, Being Somebody and X.When the group disbanded, Michelle Heaton has a solo career making guest appearances, with a debut solo album reportedly to be released sometime in 2009.

As a model, she has appeared in lingerie and swimwear men’s magazines, including Maxim and Loaded. She is also the face of the Ultimo ‘Michelle at George’ lingerie line.She appeared on a variety of reality TV series in England and Ireland, including Totally Scott-Lee, Fáilte Towers and Come Dine With Me. She received a resurgence of publicity when she joined UK Celebrity Big Brother 6 in January 2009. She became the third celebrity to be evicted.Michelle Heaton was married to, and has since divorced, former boyband member Andy Scott-Lee. She now lives in Dublin, Ireland with her boyfriend Hugh Hanley, an Irish advertising executive.
