Cindy Crawford's Husband is Sued for Sexual Harassment
Rande Gerber, the husband of supermodel Cindy Crawford, is being sued for sexual harassment by two women who used to work for him.Two former waitresses claimed they were fired from a restaurant owned by his company for refusing to give into his and other managers’ advances.According to TMZ.com and US magazine, the lawsuit, which was filed in March in San Diego County Superior Court, alleges Gerber attempted to kiss one of the women three times on one occasion.
It also claims Gerber ‘put his hand up (her) dress in between her legs in an attempt to fondle her crotch’.The incident is said to have occurred in 2008 at the Moonstone Lounge, in San Diego’s Hard Rock Hotel.The women are suing for unspecified damages.Gerber’s spokesman said: ‘These allegations were previously investigated and shown to be baseless. This lawsuit has no merit.’Gerber, who owns the Midnight Oil range of bars and lounges, and Cindy have been married for 11 years and have two children together.
Cindy used to be married to Pretty Woman star Richard Gere and has posed for Playboy.She also appeared in a George Michael music video and was voted third out of VH1's 40 Hottest Hotties of the 90s.Combining good looks and brains, she won an academic scholarship to study chemical engineering before becoming a full-time model.
