With her fresh-faced glowing skin and rosy cheeks, Gwyneth Paltrow looked a picture of health as she posed for the cameras last night.Earlier this month the 36-year-old revealed on her website Goop she had been following a three-week detox programme.Slim Gwyneth, who never looks anything other than toned, told her readers the detox helped her drop her 'extra pounds'.

She said she had put on a small amount of weight a month previously during 'a majorly fun and delicious relax and enjoy life phase'.But there was no evidence of this as she posed for the cameras last night at the Children of the City Champions of Hope benefit gala at Tribeca Rooftop in New York.

Gwyneth showed off her slim waist in a spray-on style black dress with panels of purple glitter by London label Preen. She teamed it with Giuseppe Zanotti's Vicini ankle boots from the autumn/winter collection.Gwyneth uses her website to inform her fans about her views on a diverse range of issues, including raising children, her favourite hotels, relationships and cooking the perfect roast chicken.

Earlier this month she discussed the Clean detox programme, designed by New York cardiologist and detoxification specialist Dr. Alejandro Junger.'This program allowed me to work and exercise regularly, something I cannot do if I am on a liquid-only detox,' she told readers.'I followed it to the letter and I can report that it worked wonders.
