Meet Stefania Fernandez, Miss Venezuela, and the winner of the 2009 Miss Universe pageant. See her hot photos, biography and videos here. She is an absolute doll-face who deserves the title.She took the Miss Universe crown on August 23rd, 2009, in the angelic city of Nassau in the Bahama Islands. It was a tightly contested contest which was controversial because no Asian beauties were in the top 15 contestants. The is the second year in a row that Miss Venezuela has won the Miss Universe crown! Last year’s winner was the equally stunning Dayana Mendoza.
Miss Venezuela beat two first runner-up contestants who tied for second place. Miss Dominican Republic who is named Ada Aimee de la Cruz, and Miss Australia who is named Rachael Finch. The second runner-up is the beautiful Gona Dragusha, also known as Miss Kosovo.
Stefanía Fernández Krupi was born September 4th, 1990 Mérida, Venezuela which means that she is still only 18 years old. She is of mixed heritage, including Russian, Ukrainian, and Polish. The result gives her a uniquely stunning look which shone brilliantly on our television screens. Miss Venezuela was a sight to behold as she won over the judges with her beauty, eloquence and charm.
Stefania Fernandez Krupi is a devout Catholic who attended a convent and lists “meeting the Pope” among her life dreams. She is the youngest of three children and only 18 years old. Her measurements are 35.5-24-35.5 inches and she is wonderfully tall with a height of 5′8″ tall. Her eyes are passionate brown and her hair color is brown.Stefania Fernandez is the daughter of mother Nadia Krupij Holojad and father Carlos Fernández. Interestingly her father was once kidnapped and held for ransom.
To complete her biography, Stefania Fernandez has many interests which include swimming and tennis. She is not an accomplished dancer although she did participate on stage in the dance routines with the other girls.
