Actress Mischa Barton shows she's still one of the hottest young stars around as she strips down to her underwear in scenes from her latest movie.The former O.C star looks happy and relaxed in the scenes from the upcoming movie The Homecoming, which was filmed before her well-documented breakdown.

Posing seductively on a bed in a copper lingerie set and grey dressing gown, the star performs a brief striptease in the straight to DVD thriller.Mischa has been looking better than ever in recent weeks and appears to have bounced back since she was sectioned following a rumoured drug and alcohol binge three months ago.

The 23-year-old returned to the set of her new television show The Beautiful Life just days after being released from a psychiatric ward in a Los Angeles clinic.She admitted that she was happy to throw herself back into work during an appearance on MTV’s It’s On With Alexa Chung

‘I’m just so happy at work. I love my job. We’re having a lot of fun filming, and the stress of the summer is over, which is nice,' she said.Mischa, who is currently starring in new television show The Beautiful life says that that she is looking forward to leaving behind Marissa Cooper, the character she played in The O.C.‘I like playing a character that’s a lot closer to my personality. Marissa was a little more of a stretch,’ she said.
